@@gayghst2877 J.K. Rowling shipping it doesnt mean its Canon it just means the creator likes it. She didnt to back and write it in the books or change the ending to him and Draco being together it still ends with Harry and Ginny and their children together. I personally ship drarry and would love for her to do it but it's not gonna happen. A creator of a series can ship their own characters without it becoming Canon.
@@gayghst2877 Even if she were to say its Canon then it would end up being a relationship that was behind the scenes at hogwarts that didn't end up lasting seeing as it still ends with Ginny and Harry being married with kids. Im not saying that she wouldn't say that because she would but her making it canon at this point just raises more questions and it makes it more irritating that she had Ginny and Harry marry at the end. And it would cause more hate that she gets to come to her more. Her saying it is cannon now would only irritate the fan base that grew up reading the story in its original form. As I stated before she probably does ship it like me and several others do but she cant really go back and change what she had already published many years ago. It changes the whole storyline for anybody who has read the books way before she started saying things that werent put in them. She wrote them in a dark time of her life and it turned out the way it did because she was writing to cope with it. She started saying certain characters were gay or had relationships of the sort when she noticed her fan base shipped them and it was a way to keep her books relevant and keep the fans happy. I doubt she intended for any of it to be cannon.
