heffalumps and woozles. and im not sure you know this, but a little trivia fact: disney reuses tons of their animation and "animation choreography" for their other movies :) a great well known example is snowhite dancing with the dwarves is the same animation as the dance with miriam and robinhood, frame for frame :)

you never truly will run out of Disney movies because in the span of the time you have finished previous movies they already came out with zootopia and moana, plus they could do Pixar, live action movies, marvel and the rest of star wars. plus by the time they finish all that (which would take years lol) Disney would have bought out almost every other movie company lol

disney has gotten much better with this through the years. (im deaf) they no longer lable their subtitles " English for hearing impaired" (which is seen as an insult here in the deaf community, as it implies we are "broken") they have now changed these subtitles to "english for the deaf and hard of hearing" which is the propper label for it. there is a difference between english subtitles and subtitles for the deaf. (not sure if you know this) the deaf subtitles include sounds etc. where english subtitles only cover spoken words.

Most of us have a little bit of useable hearing so weve heard some sounds, especially super loud ones. But even the ones who are completely deaf, still know what basic sounds are and what they mean. Like everyone knows a cat makes a meowing noise. It doesnt matter if youve actually heard it. You know it meows. So when you see the word "meow" you think "thats a cat". Im sorry but that was extremely ignorant to say. CC include things like the way things are said as well and other "cues" Examples: Different ways CC can portray diologue (angrily shouting)"please learn more about deaf people!" -sighs "society still has a long way to go..." At a baseball game to set the mood: -announcer over the loud speaker "And its a HOME RUN!!!" -crowd cheering War movies: -gunshots firing in the distance -horn sounding in the background "its time for war!" Scary movies: -leaves rustling and heavy breathing (whispers) "what was that?" Background noise scenario: -dogs continuously barking in background "Oh my god, shut up!" Woman talking to her spanish grandmother who only speaks spanish but no tranlation is actually given (keep in mind that sometimes CC actually do put in foreign languages as well to cover full diologue or occasionally give the translations, but not always): -grandmother speaking spanish "Oh grandma, I cant jist pack my things and go -grandmother speakong spanish "Because its too complicated!" -grandmother yelling in spanish Bilingual conversation #2 between two speakers of a different language: -(woman) speaking french -(man) speaking french -(woman) -laughs Without CC, and only having to use plain english subtitles, here are how some of those situations look to deaf people: Baseballgame: AND ITS A HOMERUN! (Note that the atmosphere and direction to who is talking is removed. All we would see is tons of peoples lips moving on screen. So... Which one of the crowd memeber has said "its a home run?,) War movies: "Its time for war" (again, instensity and atmosphere has been removed. Makes it a little boring but also, how does he know its time for war? Did he just come up woth that idea on his own?) Scary movies: "Whos there?" (again. No context to why shes asking what shes asking. Scary movies without CC are one of the dumbest things to watch because most of them are bases on sounds and building suspense that way. Without it, its just tons of dumb lines and one liners) Background noise scenario: "Oh my god shut up!" If the dog is off camera and we never see it, wed never know the dog is barking. So who the fuck is the character shouting at? There wasnt any other diologue or context. The bilingual conversation: (deaf person sees grandmas mouth moving, but no words are displayed on screen) "Oh grandma i cant just pack my things and go" (again, grandma is talking but no words are displayed) "Because its too complicated!" (again, grandma is now yelling, but no words arw displayed) Deaf thoughts- TF? Did they forget to add thia diologue? Are my subtitles broken? What the hell? Bilingual conversation #2 without CC: -deaf person seeing two people talking and NO words suddenly in the movie. "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MY SUBTITLES?!?" (english subtitles do not always tell you when someone is speaking another language. They are just there for "translation purposes" in case the movie was in another language to begin with, but it will not cover random parts of forgeign diologue since you can HEAR that the people are clearly speaking a different language than everyone else. Therefore, all we see is just people talking and feel like were missing diologue or that our subtitles are broken) SO does this make a bit more sense to you?
