As assault you're in less general risk of being one tapped by shielders anyway (at least at start of wave, you have 150 hp, shielders have +-95 damage as sometimes you survive even as non-assault for a split second before being finished by infantry). Unless you got hurt after attacking a large infantry group, you should STILL be fine even if shielder hits you.

On wave 7 is when there are platforms and stuff, very deadly. If you have a team that "doesnt know what theyre doing" it means they havent gotten the rpg upgrade (forgor name) but a team that "knows what theyre doing" is mindful of wave 7 and knows to buy stuff to defeat platforms

Just place your turret somewhere that noob hard to reach and go outside to touch some grass
