+mighty flea I listened to this track once by accident (it was on some trance stream) while my DMT hit exactly when she was saying "kein zurück für dich" (no turning back for you) and then I was catapulted into this other world as if the timing was just perfect. Coincidence?! Still the most mysterious experience of my life. Always gives me shivers.

yea! Trance its much more deliberately focused on the listener/ravers experience of it - rather than telling a story musically like most music does Trance asks the listener to be inside a story during the track. It does this utilising so many new techniques available to shape the sound - reverb, echo, synths pads, drum machines allowing the high tempo, compression, filters, samples to take music intensity somewhere special - but its the melancholic tunes in it that stand it out from the huge quantities of electronic music and make it last. There is something haunting and real about the human experience embeded in melancholic hi energy trance I dont seem to find it in rap rnb rock or country. Trance asks what are you going to make of this confusing life ? Then proceeds to remind you that you are alive now with the pounding beats. That leads to a Euphoric feeling (for me any way)

It just gets to your soul and stays there. Makes your subconscious fly and explore the universe, get immersed and feel so happy for a period of time that seems way longer than it actually is. That distortion of reality makes you just feel the ecstasy of the high energy mixed with the little melancholy of being addicted to such beautiful thing, so you just have to listen to it again....
