I know this vid is 3 years old, but in the event you check the comments: You have bundled 8 00 wires. those in the middle will heat up. How much depends on how much current, but probably not the best layout. Also, when you wrapped the wires in heat shield, a better method might just be shielding the front side (facing the exhaust) as you've created a raceway that doesn't breath, and the wires will now get much hotter. It sees like you have a lot of copper. Maybe it won't be an issue, but I don't know wenough about your setup to know.

I've never seen such extreme wiring until I started watching your video's. I would think the Big 3, 0 gauge, 2 alternators and a battery in the rear. Would be enough. But man that is just amazing. I don't think your'll ever have any power issues. LOL

So sick!!!!! Love it!!! Get further along on my car build and I’m building a custom stereo/system to plug and un plug when needed. Mids, highs, subs, amp and CD player all mounted together in a box and put between the back wheel tubs. Just an idea but eventually we will see how it works out!
@J Money 4 alternators which have nothing to do with it starting....and 6 batteries that have everything to do with it. You aren't very bright "J Money". lol
Just swapping your regular car battery out for a lithium ion battery will make a huge difference in how fast it cranks. Resting voltage is almost 1 volt more.
I remember the ‘Hoe before it got painted that wine red, it was still that champagne-grayish gold color and SMD was doing demos for people. I recently got back into car audio and it’s amazing that he’s still making vids and the Tahoe still looks so good after all these years. I had a burgundy 02 Tahoe myself but one of the HID lights caught fire and burned it to the ground.
Honestly the sickest taho ive seen. Absolutely girgeous with the thump. My dm-608 in the shop as it were. Sent it in to audio control to get fixed, so freaking stoked to get the shit back in my daily. Just doesn't sound as good. Decent DSP under a grand

Good job. Super clean install. Just one worry I'd have is wire chafing. Seem to be touching the chassis in various places without protection. I wouldn't like that thing to get an earth unexpectedly
disable your door ajar beeper. find the box making the noise open it up and find the component that makes the noise, cover it with electrical tape. just faint little beeps after that
My question is if he would sell what would be the price? I'm sure it would be upwards of 70-80 cause of all the music work an self worth of it. Just a question.
