THIS is the kind of video we need. Lots of stuff out there just showing drop off and pickup and talking money, but the mechanics of the hookup, etc., is what we need to know how to really do it. Thanks for this video, keep 'em coming! Such a good video I subscribed.

2 things. Never twist the chains if they are too long. When unhitching the trailer...especially on uneven ground, u hook the chains last. I've had a trailer start to roll and the chains hooked to the truck kept it from rolling. Yes i had wheel choks in place.

If a trailer is rolling with wheel chocks in place, I’m finding a new place to drop it! Not a bad idea to do last either way though. I’ll keep that in mind.

I use Ft Knock locks on my coupler and on my C -Channel to protect to bolts from being remove. And use tracki tracking hard wire in to trailer unknown location our visible. Works great on my Texas Pride dump Trailers. Comprehensive insurance policy on your investment is the best security and a write off. But good advice

It would be great to live in a world with no thieves. 😂 Tracking and Theft Insurance are a must in my opinion for dump trailers. I may add one of the C channel locks, but I hate buying $500 of locks for every trailer. Lol The coupler locks are useless without them.
