I sold my 2024 LPT Diamond C. Quality was not as good as the last one I bought. Must have been welded and paint prepped by some new guys. Got more than I paid for it though. I got the drop axles and honestly it’s too low to the ground for dumping. Scraped the bottom the first time I dumped with it. I’d get straight axles next time like my last trailer. Never an issue. Telescoping cylinder is super slow with the gravity down. I ordered the 7-gauge body and 12” crossmembers. Thing was over 5,200# empty. $14,300 out the door.
Pj comes pre rusted so you dont have to worry about it..... it will also rust from behind the powdered coat for extra assurance that it will be blaze orange for your next deer hunt....
PJ has eliminated a lot of their cross member support. I have a 2017 and the cross support is much better. I assume they cheapened it for cost and weight. I don’t know if I would consider another one because of this.
Same here 😢… thinking about ordering a diamond c and selling my pj after it comes in…. You can actually get electric over hydraulic disc brakes on the diamond
Why did you forget to point out the I beam difference? The PJ is single 8” I beam rolled corner one piece. The Daimond goes from 9” up to 13” but ends at where bed starts and looks like it’s bolted on to 6” I beam frame under dump. PJ 8” I beam rolled corner is much stronger then 13” with 6” Fram bolted at stress point. Bolted
Dude, you can pause the video and see it's not bolted. are you confusing the light as a bolt? Lol. and an engineered beam beams its one piece and is cut out in different widths as it goes down. its not a 9 welded to a 13 to a 6 or whatever.
My pj 7 by 14 came with metal sides that take my low profile and give me 4ft sides that are removable this trailer gives you a 2 by 6 side that gains you a few inches this didn’t cost me extra also drop legs in back it really depends on the models your comparing they should be equally optioned why did they bolt that little frame on the diamond c to that big old tounge I like low riders but not for dump trailers as well good try on your comparison 3000 dollars more for nothing I will stick to my cheap pj
The diamond C just seems like a nicer trailer. Worth the extra cost I think I’d love one with 8k axels so I can haul my svl around and an attachment. Love the color as well
I would pay more to get a Diamond C. I like a lot of features from the Diamond C like for example the telescopic lift which is much stronger than the scissor lift. I like the storage space on the Diamond C also coupled with the easy tarp system.
Diamond C is a good brand, but PJ is much better built. It's really a personal preference. And PJ also offer the telescopic lift, but not everyone likes that style.
Single cam lock barn doors on the diamond c Is A big deal. If you want to spread the load, raise the load and it drops on a single cam lock door it can and will blow right thru the doors. In every other way but price the diamond c wins.
@@HappyTrailerSales hi I’m looking in to getting in the junk removal business. I was thinking about the f250 or 350 with a trailer. If that falls in the cdl category which I have a license already does that mean u have to get dot also
