You got it wrong. The Bible did not say that money is the root of all evil. The Bible said the love of money. So it’s okay to work for money, to seek for money but to the extent that you will do evil or shady things to get the money, that is where the problem is. After all the same Bible says the person who does not work should not eat.

I can personally relate 😂. Hm. I was in a talking stage with someone and realised her mum was on dialysis. I felt pity for her and her family. But I started ghosting her. I don't want to in a situation one day where I will be seen as someone who can not be of help financially.

The girl needs to kno that she has to use this as motivation to better herself and family. My dad was a taxi driver and managed to put three of us through to university. We used it as motivation and today we are all doing well because we don't to be back in that situation. Now my dad has quit driving but people still never believe when we tell them our background story
The reality is you don't force love the motivations can be quite complicated. As bitter as the pill is, the guy has prevented a whole bunch of complications in marriage including abuse that can even be fatal. You may disagree with the way the guy went about it but regardless they were still dating. What if the guy marries her and leaves home for a week and the woman starts complaining. She should keep making the effort to make a good living. I'm glad the girl risked it and honest enough to show him her roots. That's all.
