Those are things you have to fight in the moment. That probably would have started an eviction process that the plaintiff would have won on.

You obviously have never owned anything. When you lease a place you are only leasing it. It doesn't belong to you. Anything that you damage, you are 100% responsible in replacing it. If someone leases a rennovated apartment or house , why should they eat the cost of fixing the damages that have been caused by the careles tenant???

I would never have a glass top stove again. I bought special cleaners just for it to keep it nice. Rubbish. I cleaned after every use and it still looked awful.

thats why im surprised the judge charged the plaintiff for that because its the nature of that type of stove top coating to start looking like that after a certain number of cleanings and months of use .

I think that term gets thrown around way way too much these days. She was a woman/ home owner that was concerned her friend/ tenant was not taking even minimal basic care of her home.

MY LAST LANDLORD GAVE ME SENIORITY BECAUSE OF HOW I TREATED HIS PROPERTY EVEN ALLOWED TO HAVE A CAT HE BOUGHT THE FOLDING DOOR SO I COULD KEEP THE CAT FROM MY DINNING RM LIVING RM AREA. HE WAS SAD TO SEE ME LEAVE I BOUGHT A HM BEEN HERE 19YRS I EVEN PD HIM TO DO A FEW REPAIRS. WE 1ST MET WHEN HE BOUGHT PROPERTY I WAS ALREADY RESIDING IN SO HE KNEW HOW I LIVED PRIOR. I WAS ACCEPTED FOR SECTION 8 HE HAD NEW PROPERTY MOVED ME IN. SO ALL RENTER ETC AREN'T HORRIBLE
