He probably thought he had it taken care of for the ones who took care of him. But usually that means that there is something better out there for you. When you were opening the boxes of donations. then reading the note from Laura, brought tears to me eyes. So wonderful to see that with all that is going on in this world. It’s a shame that you had to find out the hard way that people only care about themselves. It’s such a shame that the workers who kept the business afloat through the pandemic are the ones who are suffering now. So very sorry. I'm sorry to hear about your job Shannon 😔 You and Beth are the best and you're perseverance paid off. I'm sorry I'm unable to send you anything for your donations but I don't have the money to help. I came out of mental and abusive relationship and had to leave stuff behind. It took me a while and I have now done two Women Foundation courses, which will help me recognise the signs of these men. Mind you I don't plan to get involved anytime soon! I don't have a lot, but I do have my sanity and peace of mind and I can choose what I want to do. So I'm glad you can help out the Women and children's centre, we don't have that kind of help where I'm at in the UK, as our town is quite small x

While it rained Wednesday night, we in the Bronx were in the middle of Ida. Most areas of the Bronx, Queens, parts of Manhattan were under 3 feet of water. But, my part of the Bronx is ok. Survived pandemic but tourism not up and running, then damn gov pulls unemployment out from under, he found a job to keep us flowing, job is 4.00 less an hour and no tips. Fully understand what you're feeling.

You are so right when I finally escaped you don't think about nothing else. I was I. Alaska and Febuary is the coldest month and my girls 4yrs old and 6 flew from Alaska to Texas in there snow suites and boots. You just run and run as fast as uou can. 13 yrs was enough. What a day.
