VHS tapes are cheap but hey you can always try doing the old fashioned thing with em, watch em. Not many people want em anywhere these days, i see them going for 10-50c (sometimes more in the case of disney movies or oddballs) but usually around that ballpark. You could always have a collection. granted they are best played on a CRT tv simply because that was what was around, BUT there is vhs/dvd player combos that go for around 20-30 or so used (about 150-160 new). That can be worth the upgrade to your entertainment center! Some of them upscale as well, up to 1080p that i know of (lower end ones would do 720i/p) Either way that will make them look better on a HDTV. There is even blu ray/vhs combo players but they're rare, not certain what they go for new but probably even more. Like i've mentioned with other cartridge based games, if they won't start just use a little rubbing alchol and q-tips on the contacts, that'll probably get like 98% of em to work (its possible they may well have trace damage internally but unlikely)

And i'm not complaining, just telling you what i see them going for locally around me. And you SHOULD play the GB games, ALL of those are good ones for the platform And if you'd rather play them on the big screen you can always use a game boy advance player for gamecube or super game boy (addon for snes), or a clone system (like the retron 5) that plays them. There's other solutions too Then again a pentium 4 computer beefed up decently a bit is plenty to handle the systems you've picked up (except the ps2 and 360 games) for emulation. You could probably get plenty of older computer hardware to play around with and build systems from another dumpster or a mom n pop shop or something. There's a lot of games on computer that are awesome, but older stuff (dos) can be harder to run (some 9x meaning 95 98 games) too. If you can find someplace bigger to dive from that carries a large variety of things you could really come home with a lot more and have a lot more to resell.
