Greetings from Germany. It breaks my heart when I see so much good food wasted. Thank you so much you saved it. We dont have dumpsters like yours here and most stores sell food for a lower price before it gets old but still too much food is wasted. You are doing a great job and help to save our planet

Dehydrating bananas is great too, cut about quarter inch wide and they end up chewy like leather, yum

What a great food haul..when I find a lot of onions and peppers I cut them up and put them in freezer bags and freeze them .when I cook I just grab a bag and take out what I need and I cut up bananas and freeze them and use them for smoothies or make banana bread.. enjoyed tagging along with you guys... y'all are so much fun to watch..

Nice haul! I love the scallions. I plant the white bases in dirt, and the scallions keep growing!! They are awesome to have on hand all the time!!

You can freeze the bananas and dip in chocolate or use them in a smoothie. Onion can be frozen to cook with.

Bananas, when they are speckled like that, are at their sweetest, and the best thing to do with them is peel them, wrap them in foil, freeze them, then eat as an ice lolly

if you have freezer space, the frozen bananas can always be frozen and used to make banana bread or banana cake etc

You can also put a popsicle stick in 1/2 frozen banana, then dip in chocolate dip for the kiddos

You can chop and freeze the onions. They’re good for soups, casseroles or anything where you cook the onions.

You can chop the onions and then freeze them. They are fine to use in anything you cook. Casseroles, soups, stews, etc. You can freeze bananas to use in smoothies

Love watching you two. I'm new to looking at comments so what I'm sharing you may already know. When you get good bananas if you wrap the stem end in foil they will last much longer so you have fresh bananas to eat. It's great that you freeze them as well. If you get green onions always trim the root ends leaving about 1/2" and plant those roots to grow again. You can do many veggies that way. Also wrapping celery and broccoli in foil to store in fridge they last bunches longer. I have lots of hints to share with you. Have a great evening.
