I dumpster dive and I have seen homeless people sometimes looking into the dumpsters, so I have started leaving some of what I find behind, I take only what I know I can use before it goes bad, yes I have donated also, but not all homeless people go to shelters, this is why I leave some foods in the dumpster. Don't know if they have homeless people where this video is being done, but that is a great haul. Glad I dont have the snow, stay warm.
I'd like to know what state all this food is being thrown out. I live in Arizona and Walmart has a cover over the stuff they through out and locked. I think that's why the prices go up look at all the waste. People go hungry in other countries while we throw out food that's still edible. Be fumbles the mind how so much food is wasted. Some one told me if and apple one apple is bad in a bag they through out the whole bag.Instead of emptying the bag with the other apples that you pick from bin. It's a sin to waste food and every day this goes on.
I can't believe all that food was just gonna be thrown away. When will big companies take responsibility and start atleast ringing like the homeless, which I'm sure would be only too happy to come and collect the food I've seen you pull out of there , and other charities. When I worked retail, I was told that some employees have been arrested for hiding valuable merch in dumpster, then call a friend to come pick it up. This is why some are suspicious of d. Divers.
Always consider the temperature all day into the nite, May not have been cold enough during day. The fruits and veggies may need to be frozen or canned if they were taken by you ! Be careful.
Very sad! Many people are going hungry & can barely keep up with the high cost of food. Check expiration dates. Be careful with meats & dairy products which require refrigeration. However, this is a great haul!!!

Awesome dive you inspired me to go check our aldis but nothing only one small celery lol you could have taken that open meat and cooked it for your chickens hopefully a raccoon will find it and yes most fruits and veggies from Aldi dumpster are 100x better then Walmart fruit and veg any day 😂❤❤❤❤❤

For large apple pie takes 3 Or four pounds. Also all those tomatoes they will go so easy soft. When going soft I put Them in plastic bags in the freezer. Then when I'm making spaghetti sauce or soup or anything that needs to tomatoes I always have them. Not for Salads . You've taken out the freezer chop Them up frozen they are delicious
They lock our dumpsters here in Connecticut, what a shame not to give to those in need. We have 2 Aldies very close to us. My George does all the shopping as he is a cook, does a way better job at shopping. I use to cook and bake all the time. Now I just bake bread for George.
for a regular pi it should take 4-6 apples depending on size. What a score! I would be doing some major baking and canning of the fruits and veggies! I am so jealous! lol You can always make pasta with the extra eggs! I see banana bread in your future! :) Great video!
Yeah it's good you found this. I do hope you give to shelters, and the homeless. But please don't eat or give those hot dogs to anyone because they will make you sick. And if you give away your going to be sued.
Galas are good apples.Shelters feeding the homeless would of appreciated this food.I still think home offices of these stores don't realize this is happening.another issue who ever orders orders more then they have room for.
You took the stuff out of the boxes and put it on the ground and you're displaying it right in front of the dumpster you couldn't of taking the stuff to someplace a little nicer then that

Unbelievable amount of food! A egg must have broken so they threw the whole case out. That makes sense!! NOT! Lol 😂 30 pounds of apples is half bushel. It takes about 3lbs apples to make a pie. That means you found enough apples to make 10 apple pies!
