Whole lot of time*

We don't have Aldi in our small city. We do have 3 small grocery stores that DO donate their excess food to our local food pantries and community kitchen. The kitchen provides hot lunches 5 days a week and gives out generous food boxes twice a week. Just the meat we get has saved me hundreds of dollars of food stamps - which allows me to buy more fresh veggies. These food boxes remind me of the boxes Alex packs for the next person.

I know it's a shame but food banks don't take food like that.

Thats how they drive food prices up by claiming shortages
