You inspired me! Tonight I went to my Bath&Body when it closed. They only put out bags, (no dumpster) . Looked in bags, they were not heavy,just cardboard. I'll keep checking. Thanks again!

Maybe you could melt the candles down in a heat resistant jug, like Pyrex, then when you pour it out it’ll be less messy 🤗👍🏻

If you put them in the freezer the candle falls right out

Freezing it makes it much easier.

Hey, great video and love your channel! I agree, don't use boiling water but simmering water. I use the freezer gallon baggies with the zippers. They are easier to pour into your containers. I also use a sharp knife and cup up the broken candles into chunks so they melt faster. I recently got a few silicone molds too and am loving making them more now. I like finding wicks and containers at thrift stores/Goodwill/yard sales for cheap. Christmas is coming and these will make great gifts! ♥️

Get a large, glass, pyrex measuring cup and melt your candles in there. It keeps you from making messes with wax. Also, melt your wax in the microwave in 15 second intervals. Too much heat can cause the scent to disappear. In candle/lip gloss/ salve/soap making you always add scent last when your waxes are warm, not boiling hot EVER! Or else the scent evaporates. I hope this helps :) Great video as always.

I think you should have melted the wax in a measuring cup so you have that pour spout and don't make as much of a mess.

Awesome video. You should have scraped the sharpie writing off the wax before melting. The wax would have been fine when it melted.

You really do not need to have your water boiling like you do. You are losing a lot of scent melting your candles in that manner. Your water only needs to be simmering otherwise you or somebody is going to get hurt badly. You don't lose as much scent when you melt your candles slow. I love your channel, stay safe, love ya.

Try using a pyrex measuring cup to melt the candles. It would be easier to pour from.

If you buy a thick glass measuring cup you can poor your wax/candle much easier. (A tip from holland greetings franny)

Just an idea to make pouring the melted wax easier,maybe use a glass measuring cup.

Hey girl think your great found your channel three days ago love it I also use the freezer thing to the candles I buy wax wicks and the wood wicks and make my own because I LOVE ME SOME CANDLES there my chill thing I use old candles and soy wax with the sented oils.here in ohio well my part you get fines for dumpster diving or side of the road digging for scrapping but long story short love your channel be safe

How to get rid of all of those small, tiny shards of glass off each candles? Those things have cut up my fingers in the past

A hot glue gun helps center the wick and keeps it in place when putting the wax in a new candle holder.
