There's a diver I follow in Placentia CA where the stores now have to separate just food into different dumpsters to be used for compost, animals, fuel etc...! Don't know how widespread in CA or the US it will be eventually but they are doing decent in the few videos I've seen. They also have scrapping & fix it/cooking sites.

When you asked, "What the heck is that?" in the video at 4:31-33, those are Barbershop shaving blades. Used to do the fine work around the ears, sideburns, and the little baby hair at the nape of neck. My step-dad Matthew Andrew was a barber. And the Andrew family started, and owned the Barber College in Perrysburg, Ohio. My step-dad was also in the title credits for being the Barber to do the haircut for the mean police officer in the movie " Shawshank Redemption" that was made in Mansfield, Ohio at the old prison. On the rummage video you talked to a lady who made Quilts and Fidget Mats. Did you, or do you ever save the material for her? You even mentiond stuff that was spray painted could work and she seemed thrilled that you would get her a bunch of different types of fabric material for her. I had never thought of donating old clothes and fabric to places that still make quilts or similar items. I have several of boxes full of old clothing material that would work great. Also have leftover pieces of fabric from the clothes my mom made for me and her in the 60's to 80's. Thanks!! 💓😀💚🙏💜😁💙🤔💛🙏💓

I just don't understand why so much still useful stuff gets thrown in the dumpster. Clothes could go to homeless shelters and charity organizations. Pet food to animal shelters, etc

I get and appreciate love for recycling, regifting and not wasting however sometimes it's in the trash because it's broken and trash. Seeing an addiction problem here.

For quite a long time I’ve been going to say a couple of things to you but I never seem to have the time. Well, today I’m making the time no matter what. I watch quite a few of you divers. Some I have watched for only a few months and then I don’t bother with them anymore. Usually I stop watching them because they’re made by very childish people who feel the need to make sex jokes and little innuendos implying something nasty that has absolutely nothing to do with what they happen to be sharing with their viewers. Believe me, I’m 68 years old and I’ve been around the block and back a few times. I’ve also owned and been a business woman my entire adult life and I’ve learned that those type of jokes and stupid remarks have no place in RU-vid videos. The only thing it does is tell the viewers how immature they are. I’ve always been the life of the party and the one with the quick witted way of turning around words that someone said and get the whole group laughing like crazy and having a great time. I’ve even been told by a few people that I should be a comedian. Well that wouldn’t be for me. My whole point is people don’t have to talk dirty or make smutty jokes or hand signals to be funny and the only kind of people that they attract are people that like that sort of talk and people who you wouldn’t want to babysit for your dog for the day! And then there’s the two of you! I love the two of you! You actually remind me of my husband and myself. My husband tells jokes that nobody understands except himself and I get some of them because we’ve been together for 23 years. And then I jump right into a project when my husband is still looking at it. That’s how I remind myself of Steph. You two are good people. You donate to people, you help the homeless. Last summer I watched Steve bring cold bottles of water to a couple of homeless guys because he felt for them and didn’t want to see something happen to them because of the extreme heat. Unfortunately there really aren’t enough people out there that do the kinds of things that we do. You set an example for everyone that’s watching. You may not have thought of this but the two of you actually have a ministry. You do things for and you feed the poor and homeless, the same way that Jesus did. And you work hard for your own family and don’t ask for handouts. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the two of you. You’re good people. I wish there were more people like you. Oh yes, I’ll admit there are times when I want to tell Steve to be quiet! And there are times when I want to tell Steph to just grab it and go before you get caught! You can look at it later! I love watching you two and you’re so darn cute together! Okay I’m done. I’ve said my peace. You take care and God bless you and yours.✝️♥️🌷
