We had a crazy haul at this Dollar General Dumpster a few weeks ago. This was a few days after we had been eaten by ants, but I still hopped in and saved what we could. I was in this dumpster almost an hour and a half. I was sweating so much from the heat and the work it was insane! Literally crawling, dredging and digging through this dumpster forever! It was sad a lot of the perishable items had been in there all day in this 110-degree Texas Heat! We saved food, toys, games, clothes and MORE! SO much WORK! The battery in my light died toward the end of the dive but luckily, we were already done. The work of organizing, cleaning and sanitizing everything when we got home was also never ending.
It's a dirty job but someone has to do it. This is a long video, but We hope you enjoy this SUPER SUMMER MEGA HAUL!

We are a Married couple who have been salvaging, restoring, saving food, electronics, toys, furniture and anything that is able to be saved from dumpsters before filling landfills. People dump so much good into landfills it's just crazy. We go out and check random dumpsters at random times to see what we can save, reuse, recycle and share. We also like to do bulky item pickup saves. We have been doing this for several years together and decided to post our passion on RU-vid.
