My first ever dumpster Kirkland's haul! This is about $800 worth of furniture! I've been watching other divers back east find amazing things and now it's my time to shine!!!
Here's how it went down: We are hitting up our normal spots. It's cold. It's starting to snow a bit. It's LATE! So far, we'd struck out. I said, "Let's just peek into Kirkland's bins-- It'll be fast."
Right away the dumpster looked very full. "Great," I thought. "It'll be near impossible to see down in there with this big box in the way."
I pushed the box. Wait a minute...it's heavy! I knocked on the box. Wait a minute...it's wood! I turned around to Taylor, who was keeping warm in the car. I started frantically waving for him to come over to me.
"It's furniture! I don't know what kind...but it is!" We pulled it out and saw a fabulous looking buffet table.
"The glass is broken here," Taylor said.
"I don't care. Let's take it home. I'll make it work." I said, justifying my first Kirkland's haul.
Taylor decided he would jump into the bin and take a closer look around. At the very bottom, you guessed it, was a second large box with a buffet table inside! SCORE!
