Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. You are the one that got me scrapping. I watch every one of your videos. I am 67 and on disability because of a motorcycle accident. The money I get from disability pays my bills with not much left after that. Now that I am scrapping I am able to go out and do things. Like fishing , metal detecting, camping and do a little bit of traveling. Like driving to different states that I like. I love the mountains. Thank you once again to interducing me to scrapping. Will be thinking of you when I am lying in a creek somewhere smoking a joint.

this projector I think costs 4000 dollars. here in Brazil it is worth about 6000 dollars

They had those projectors in some of the classrooms. Sometimes the buld would burn out and now have the led replacement ones made for them. I picked up one and it's a beast of a unit. Reason they dumped it was the safety interlocking cover broke. Simple fix.

that big richard gray is an audio power strip, it provides surge protection and also cleaner power as to not interfere with audio signals, pretty neat find also all those audio/video stuff, originally totals up to around 46k in value, brand new of course

Hi Mike been followingyou for about 3 years now and just wondering, ,just a inquisitive question! What is the consensus for scrap in Texas ? Do you not have recycling centres ? And if you did not pick it up,where would it end up ?.

They do have recycling centers inside the city limits but many folks don't utilize them as they are spread out and cannot or simply will not drive several miles just to recycle a flat screen tv or microwave. 100% of everything he grabbed and rummaged around in was headed for the landfill. Some of the businesses have a cardboard only dumpster for recycling but they usually have to pay extra to have the bin

I LOVE watching and listening to Mike, but honestly, everytime I see that he's wearing those pink heart-shaped sunglasses on I absolutely crack up. And then I think of the times that he talks to people whose trash he's picking with them on and the camera/light strapoed to his head....what a hoot!!

31:39 is a flatscreen swingarm ? You got the mounting base also . Check if it seem ok before scrapping. Does u.p.s systems you found can be sought after. The small batteries can be used for Ups powerbackup builds they are "deep cycling prof " even the lead acid ones. (A M D) 31 : 39 : vacuum pumps? You made me laugh so hard with your talk about the paint !! I’ve seen twice, once with your green runners and once with your new ones, has there been any I’ve missed ! 😂😂😂. Both made me laugh so hard that I had to pause your video so that I could settle down and wipe my eyes, I had tears streaming down my cheeks. 🤣🤣 As for those Exit signs with the batteries, well they sure are lucky that they have you cleaning up for them. I've been following you for a long time and what you are doing is very interesting, some of the things they throw away still work and make you money.
