Dumpster Diving Episode 100: "Gettin' Energy and Stuffs"

When you have ripped clothes, you can save them and when you have a box full you can sell them at your yard sale as a box of rags or scrap fabric. My aunt used to sell boxes for $3-$5 each. They're great for dusting, house cleaning and washing cars.

Hi DD those socks at the start when you were going through the bag the white ones with a heart on them. There was like 6 socks with a band around them. Should check as those socks they normally put the pair on the piece cardboard together.

For the broken candles and things like that pumpkin you had trouble getting, you need a doggie proper scooper. It would scoop that stuff up, quick and easy.

You can put the windshield epoxy on it and close it up. Never know it was cracked. Great haul 👌 👍 👏

If you find cotton fabrics - doesn't matter if they are cut already - quilters will take the all cotton stuff - make a "lot" and sell it on marketplace. Can be clothing - curtains, sheets.

Looks like Bedford County, Pa. I'm in Somerset County,Pa. and I have alot off rolling hill views as well as the Windmills. It won't be long and these hills will be white,.yuck,!!! Great finds as always.

wOw, A Really Long True story for real! If I had a way of taking the larger stuff or multiple items when dumpster diving, I would. When I found out that grocery store was closing, I got to go 3 times and found a good amount of stuff, on the last day I was able to go, the dumpster was filled with lots of TV dinners from cheaper to Hungry Man, I did take alot, although had I been able to take more I would have. My house is 4 rooms, 5 if you count the hallway and its separated by 2 connected lines, the kitchen, bathroom and hallway are on one line, while the living room and bedroom on the other line. I come close to burning the house down cause of this fact when I put 2 heaters on the same line and overloaded the electricity and it even put my refrigerator out of commission for about a week to get the cord replaced and that was not fun. I would like to have the electrical upgraded to brand new wiring with multiple connections from the breaker box, so that will never happen again, just no money. Cause of this fact I can not heat the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and even the hallway, I choose to do it this way in hopes my dogs will stay warm, yet those drafty holes in their room make it hard to keep it warm, so if you are a praying person, pray that GOD intercedes, one day I may just want to leave if that's GODs plan, I would move if I could in a way, the noisy horns that pass through hurts my babies ears and they will wail in pain and if I had the money to buy or even rent a place that would accept dogs, I would consider moving, yet most rent houses I checked on, up to $600+, they also don't allow dogs and I get a total of $726 in social security. I probably could get a low income apartment, however most will not let you have large dogs, Charcoal and Mandy are Labradors and I do not want to get rid of them, someone threw them out like garbage and I can NOT bring myself to do that to them, they are my BABIES! I LOVE THEM TOO MUCH! I don't know what plans GOD has for us. I hope I can figure that out and move on if that was GODs plan. I wanted to stay in this house because it was my grandmas house, being it was historic I wanted to live here all my life, yet there is no stores close and I would have to bike up to 15 miles or more if I wanted or needed to go to town, it takes around 2 hours one way, 4 hours both directions and no bathroom stops unless you find a tree to hide behind and no real way of carrying dumpster finds or even purchases for that matter. Because I am so POOR, I don't even see a vehicle in my future and no way of driving. Things just happen that we can't explain that only GOD has the answers to. I would like to do better, much better than I am now. My life has crashed down on top of me, though I haven't suffocated yet, sometimes it feels like it, I HOPE GOD INTERCEDES SOON IN OUR LIVES! HOPE YOU HAVE A TRULY BLESSED DAY and NIGHT!

Put a wooden or plastic base on the reptile habitat and the crack won't matter especially if you place the mat over that area.

If you need a strong glue Take a jar and pour abalone in maybe half way and melt Styrofoam in it till you get the thickness of glue seal the jar and it will keep for a while

That terrarium can be fixed with some silicone and a new sheet of glass, as there is not a tremendous amount of prsesion on the sides or bottom, eslesially if its not used for turtles or frogs. ...use it for lizards, I'd say.

Use that Clay that hardens in a day then paint

Idk if anyone else said this, but I was thinking abt the signs with the bible passages... if you get to cut them down to even them out, you could consider instead of trying to match the paint, you could paint the whole sides and 1/2 inch or so on the inside edge black, bc the lettering is black. Kind of giving it a frame. Just an idea.

All the damaged material ie sheets underwater etc see if anyone wants to use the material as loads of people would probably use it saves throwing back in the bins, make boxes up they would sell
