Dumpster Diving for Halloween Costumes! 

A couple of years ago we were trick or treating and there was a father and 2 kids in those dino costumes. They were running to cross a busy Street and their heads were bobbing back and forth. I laughed so hard at that.

Duct tape fixes holes in blow up costumes! Have done it for years on our outside blow ups. We stitch them like we are fixing clothes then duct tape over it works great

The little basket you passed up would be the one for Dorothy’s dog Toto from “Wizard of Oz!”

You sure got a holloween load on that trip. 👍👍 On the pot hats you could separate the leaves and hot glue a little on the top of each hat.

I can’t believe that was all thrown away! So wasteful, glad you saved some of it! The Target stores in the Chicago area donate the leftover stuff to Salvation Army to sell at their thrift stores.

I have one of those dinosaur costumes and it’s the best! Everyone always gets a big kick when I wear it and all the little kids become my best friend. It’s the perfect Halloween costume.

My 12 year old Granddaughter loves going Dumpster Diving. She's always asking if we can go. Before I can get out of the car, she's already at the dumpster grabbing stuff. We have hit the mother load at times.

I am passionate about dumpster diving, and I walk to my internship from the train station now for just a week, and I spotted a shopping bag just next to an underground dumpster, and I really was inspired by you, and I found a hand soap bottle, still more than half full!❤ thanks for inspiring me😊

Take the grab bag. Love seeing any kind of video you do. Our weather started out in the 60's now going down with the cold front coming & the wind is super blowing today & we are going to have a freeze tonight with a wind chill factor. I am in columbus Oh way up north. Funny thing my granddaughter that lives with me has the same dinosaur costume. It doesn't light up it has a fan in it to keep you cool. The picnic basket would be so cute if painted & decorated with flowers, Super great finds & happy you now have something to wear for Halloween. Can't believe you didn't take the breat & whatever else food was over to the side. There may be a loose wire on the mirror thing. Love your video was so cute & funny

The pot head hat is funny...you could totally put fake flowers or a different fake plant from the dollar tree on the pot heads that are missing the actual plant part and make them into flower pot head hats!

Aww I was a bit gutted you didn’t take that Dorothy basket for a little toto (or pilgrim ! We’ll squish him in 😂❤️), but wow! What a haul!! You’ve got some amazing decorations for next year too. I’ve owed a witches costume that blew up like those dinosaurs, if it has got a hole, 9/10 it’s fixable with i *think* a puncture reprise kit which are dirt cheap! Especially if both have a hole in. Fix ‘em up & either keep one or sell them both next year as someone will love & take them off you! Happy Halloween Kelly & everyone, stay safe all ☺️ x
