You've broke me, I don't even collect scrap but I've been watching you so much that I can't walk past metal now without thinking "oooh scrappity scrap" 😂
I was very well aware of the lid in there. I actually believe there were 2. Reason I did not grab the glass lids is because my intentions were to scrap the SS pots. That’s all. Didn’t miss a thing .
@@MikeTheScavenger OWWW!!! Go ahead and harvest his internal organs while they're still warm. The Fava Beans are almost ready!!.......*BYOC!! * - Bring Your Own Chianti 😆😂🤣
Greetings Mike. Metal metal metal yippee yippee. PLEASE don't get hurt/injured getting those treasures. You can do i Mike. GOD BLESS you. Be safe, healthy, kind and blessed always family
I want a "Scrap yard Run" as much as I wanted a "Pam Anderson Bay Watch Poster!!! ". My first wife didn't think it would look good on our bedroom ceiling!!!! Despite the fact that she would have gotten " lucky" more offer!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m always surprised when I see beer bottles and cans in the trash, up here we pay a little bit more and then get it back when we return them. It really keeps them out of our landfills. 🙏♥️🇨🇦
If mike would park closer he wouldn’t have to handle things twice I agree and he could go to more dumpsters sometimes he parks 20 30 are more feet away I don’t understand
Bunch of Half-Wits!! 😆😂🤣 The reason you should NEVER pull up close to any dumpster when you first get there is, because you never know (especially at night) how many nails/sharp objects you just ran over. As quick as that, there goes a big chunk of that "Scrappity Scrap-Scrap" money. It's definitely smarter to first park 20ft away, get out and police the area. I bet a few times Mike has had a Lion's share of flat tires the following mornings, back when he first started Scrappin'. 😆😂🤣
They want 65$ in Palatka, FL for a new bed rail and the thrift store only has parts and pieces of different bed rails. You might want to yard sale that bed rail.
Mike the Scavenger the video game: where you play as Mike driving around solving trash puzzles to collect the trashcash at the scrapyard. Plus you’ll also have to avoid security, trash obstacles like florescent bulbs/shards of glass, and vicious trash pandas in order to complete all scavenging missions. You can use the money you earn to upgrade Doddie and The Stick and level up your gear like Gloves and Shoes. You can also find rare items in certain dumpsters for upgrading items or try your luck in the online auctioning. Sounds like fun actually.
Nice score Mike. A full truck is a good day. I'd drop those chain hoists into a bucket of rust remover then a bucket of oil. Those things are expensive.
Yes, those bed rails CAN pinch a chunk out of you! It happened to me just this weekend while we were replacing our guest bedroom suite! I'm missing a little chunk of the side of my right hand!
Have a contest for a lucky subscriber.. take the winner out for a day of scrapping.. teaching them how to recognize metals how to do scrapping.. somebody to help you all day with all the big stuff.. thumbs up everyone if you want to spend the day with Mike
Thanks Mike, my wife has now been yelling at me for hours, just because you didn't kick that cabinet upright BEFORE loading the pipe and heater. I just told her you were looking for an easier load night. LoL
hey, mike! james stevens here. just wanted say i always watch you all the time. here in indiana. you are defintely getting a lot of scrap. have a great day
You could prob go $75 to start. It has metal shelf's also. I have 3of them. Prob from the early 90's. Keep up the hard work. Love your videos. God bless you.
Was that a Heavy metal cabinet? List for $100 if you want to get rid of it quick. They sell for at least $300 new. You can always come down on the price. I would buy that cabinet over a plastic one to put in my garage for storage any day. I would spray paint the inside light gray and add some LED tape lighting to make it easier to see everything inside plus in would look awesome.
Hello Mike. Always a pleasure to see another video from you. Since I found your channel I am catching up on all of them. I have always wanted to dumpster dive. But in my town it's not allowed which is BS. But it is what it is. I'm in East Texas. God bless stay safe.
Technically I don't think it's allowed in any city, you just do it and most people will look the other way if you are respectful of their property like Mike is
@@renahuchingson7738 thats crazy.. get caught recycling things that would end up in a dump and have the government punish you for doing so.. our ancestors would be disgusted with us right now and how this country is being run
@@3rdyoutubechannelstopdelet914Yes you are so right. They talk about the pollution and the environment well I wonder why it's that way ? They need to look in the mirror had figure that one out..
Copper just dropped 20 cents. It's down almost 40 the past couple weeks because of low demand due to the very high cost. It broke 10k a ton a month ago. It all depends on the amount coming out of the mines in south America.
By the way I live in Taiwan and scrappers are everywhere even in my building. Nothing gets thrown away in the regular trash. You could actually get fined. So it,s a bit hard to collect a lump sum at one time. just save what you get at one time. I know you don,t collect beer cans, but I use them to make art. Keep svrapping love to watch you do your thing.
34:04 Those white bundles are sheets of foamish type stuff I used to get from Walmart. The produce departments receive pears and expensive apples with those sheets between the layers to protect the fruit. They would just make a stack of them for me back when I was doing sales on eBay. Sometimes I would have to wipe off juices but for the most part, they were clean. Well, I got so many of them that I started bundling them in 50's and started selling them for $15 bucks a bundle. Nice free lightweight money!
That grinder wheel is a “low speed” wheel to sharpen tools - like lathe chisels I totally spaced that lamp you found. Woodworkers/crafters LOOOOVE those lamps!
I would love to see the scrapyard again. Last time they used a magnet to get it out of your truck…it was pretty cool! And it’s fun to see how much money you make for your diving. Some loads are really big…you once made $400 for one night. I would say that’s pretty good!
3 day old Fried shrimp in a dumpster in Texas in summer , yummy yummy. bet the smell was oh so great! Those chain hoists should sell for 20 each easy, chain ain't cheap either and thats pretty heavy duty
