Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Sharing is good! WHAT a haul with those safety deposit boxes! Now me, I scavenge useable wood for my own use. Past 2 afternoons, I built a small woodshed, from wood that I kept from the landfill. Doing my part, in my own way! Just like you do with metal!

@Steve Anthony I couldn't say for there but here it's 2 cents a pound for scrap steel- stainless is higher! I'd say a rough guess the guy got at least $60 for it!

Mike I live watching your videos much respect for you helping John. I use to walk the ally's with my grandpa he was a scrapper but he didn't have a truck didn't drive so he carried his in a wagon he would pull. It is hard work for sure.
