In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. @@itoemi4246 I'm 63, aging up next month, and can hurdle my way out of a container. All day long. There's a Canadian guy with a channel. He worked his way into buying a pickup. A compact model, but it's way bigger than the mini SUV he started with. That hippie has leveled up physically, revealed this summer when he went back to tee shirts from the Canadian winter kit. Moving heavy stuff, even a little at a time, a lot of a little is still a lot.

The 3" tow strap in the dumpster would actually makes for a good chew toy for dogs that chew through everything. It's the only thing my friends dog couldn't destroy and he loves chopping on it for hours.

The toolboxes with the partitions are good. The partitions can easily be cut out and you have a serviceable box for storage.

That little tip to use the dumpster itself to bend pipe comes directly from Vid Vulture! He is a good guy. Man Mike, by the end of your route you are visibly exhausted. But you do you…hopefully you are able to save the profits from scrapping to finally build that spaceship you want!

Hello Mike that 4 conductor wire you found is from an x-ray machine. If you notice it is flexible. I always keep a Geiger counter to be sure no residual effect to worry about. Those are colour laser printers. There is a large circuit board that has memory on it.

Another way to bend those puppies is too put it under the back of your truck and bend up. I have done that when there are no dumpsters around. You have the best places to find things! Thanks for bringing the entertainment! 😃

Mike I saw the RU-vid video where someone was taking those cases that you discarded and cutting them I believe with a drabble and it took out the profile of the tool and you could use it as a carrying case for stuff as the profile would come out of the case and leave it like a suitcase type of thing. You could put all sorts of things in it

I’m happy when you score big, you work your butt off for your money no doubt about it. It’s a dirty nasty job and you’re not afraid to jump in and get dirty. Love watching you. If I was your women I would go help you even though you do good by yourself I feel bad when its really heavy and you struggle to get the huge items but you do it. 👍

You be huffing and puffing after digging out all that flex conduit , conduit and wire outta that open top. All that red and yellow wires, makes me think someone got a new fire system. Definitely need sharper sidecut pliers. Nice haul tonight !!
