An individual mom and I know gave us food he couldn't use. One item was condensed milk it was bad the milk was turning an orange color. Also it stunk something terrible.
Love the way you edited this video! Wish people would leave you alone about how you do things - they can start their own scrapping channel if they want to do things differently! Patti
i'm changing the way i edit, thanks for the comment. I think i will start making really better vids for viewers to watch. it's not easy seeing your work from others perspectives. i started getting annoyed while editing for letting needless time exist in my vids. thanks for noticing!!!!
oh it was talking almost the whole time, lol i think its sound or motion triggered. Well, throw in $100 a month for insurance, a couple hundred in gas fuel a month, the $2,000 repair next year, tires, wear and tear maintenance fresh oil, filters....i thought i was being very conservative at 700 to 800 lol - its was pretty eye opening once i get rid of the car.....bu tyea if i had a family or some need for one then i would have one
The extra wire screen in the pet carrier is a partial double tier. Works well for cats if you lay carpeting or a blanket on it. Makes the lower level a great secluded hiding spot.
That extra piece found with dog cage is a divider ...the cage has two doors so you can divide it for 2 animals or you can use one side while you pet is a puppy then remove the divider when the dog is bigger.
thats what i was thinking too, but looking at it i think the divder is from a different cage with doors on opposite ends, not end and side, but yea divider
The mechanism you weren’t sure about is an air fryer and those are really cool. Look up some recipes and enjoy. Thank you for another great video! P.S.
not really. the BBQ is shelf stable and sealed. it basically does not go bad. the lable is not faded so its not been sitting in the sun. the peanut butter? would not trust. the syrup is probably just fine but being opened you have no idea what they or someone else might have done with it. I would nope past that too. but I would have taken the BBQ sauce.
There's nothing wrong with dumpster food it's all about common sense and I've never gotten sick from eating dumb stuff food but I have eaten out of a restaurant so don't knock it until you tried it
I agree with you on unknown food sources but there is an expiration date on my salt. Sure its 30 million years old but for some reason once it enters my kitchen its goes bad in 2 year. Most people do not realize the difference between Expiration date and "best before" or any other wording other then Expiration date.
this was the huge probem i noticed from my first days on youtube. It's actually a terrible issue, lol. It's not funny, lol, but the stupidity of the situation does make me lol. There is no way to get rid of it now. Well i can make one (only one) trim edit. The other option is to delete the entire video from youtube. There is no "crap filter" in place to protect society. Luckily in this case reality is that the item in question is actually 15 to 20 cents of low grade insulated copper wire scrap metal that i sell to the scrap yard. lol. Thanks for the correction, welcome to an insight of what's wrong. lol, no not lol, well, lol......no wait...
@@ScrapVulture111 I think we should just do what the anchor people on the fake news stations do when they make mistakes. Ignore, move on, and keep going. I have a tiny baseball card channel here on RU-vid and I'm still on the one take, no script, little to no editing part of my journey. Mistakes will be made. But that's OK! Thanks again, you are an inspiration to us little guys!
Can you imagine if that skull had went off the second you jumped in the dumpster? Lol. I bet we would have seen a record making dumpster dismount. Lol. At least it would have if it had been me. Lol
those little microwave motors on the bottom are real easy to scrap use two pliers and bend it open its pretty quick. each microwave also has 3 switches ( the grey thing at 28:21 ) with silver contacts 6 contacts per microwave if anyone interested in collecting contacts
I have that same Bisquick recipe box. I like looking at it, but I never cook anything out of it because I never buy Bisquick. My mother liked it though. I found a ring in a dumpster that had the marking for gold. It turned out to be a fake made in China. Your crystal skull was so funny.Loved it.
Some of those empty laserjet cartridges are still worth money just like the popular empty ink cartridges are worth something. My vendor at work buys the HP 90A or 90X for 50 cents each, they do inspect them first to be sure it's OEM and not damaged. They pay the shipping too so it's not worth a ton but is something though they do require the shipping box to be 20 pounds or more to make it worth paying for shipping. I saw a glimmer of a 81X in the background, that they stopped buying unless it's a 81A in the box then it is also 50 cents. There are some empty HP laserjet cartridges going for around $10 each because of demand (37A or 37X are 2 examples that I know of).
Glad to see you are pushing 40k. I've been watching your videos since like 2.7k subs. I miss the freetail store, it's a shame how it all played out. Was thinking of doing that myself just to get rid of old stuff I don't need anymore after being exposed to the idea.
no, the lids in this video are all useless, the fork lift devices on the sides of dumpsters are perfect little raccoon ladders. they can climb anything they can grip a bit. raccoons can get in about anything in use today, besides the tightly closed padlocked ones that stop "illegal dumping" - go figure, thats exactly what the coons are doing, illegal dumping, its just not visible to us they are dumping the dumpster contents in the oceans... and the ponds and creeks and lakes and rivers in between. It's a real trip once you see it
just eating a 60 year old sandwich of a side walk. JK😄 BUT some people dont think strait. Don't eat food from the dumpster if it is open or has a late expiration. And let people know were food your giving them came from.
You shouldn't be sorry for trying to educate people because like you said I have seen so many videos where they dig food out of a dumpster and take it to food shelters and they is a reason why that store throw it away not for fun stores are not in business to just throw money away and not only do you have to worry what's in that dumpster now but what was in it before they don't wash dumpsters people and am sure some people do it with the best of intentions because they don't know so keep telling it and God bless you and your family my friend
Some clothes and shoes that you looked in the dumpster you could have taken all them and donated them to a box and maybe it's around you I'll get into your neighbors
@@colleenposadas8415 and extra blades - i have seen people use a sharp knife and hold the wire vertically and swipe down on it shave it off. doing little bits by hand gets old quick
Not worthless. Small motor inside. 10 minutes to remove it. Right then at the dumpster. 20 minutes to get the copper out of that motor.$1.50 worth of copper and maybe $0.40 worth of various scrap.
if i had the money i would have bought a small industrial machine of one sorts or the other to just throw them and other items in and just watch and make videos. I should have bought some machinery last year at this time before Elon dumped crypto markets on our heads.......i would be making great vids right now lol
maybe a dozen or so for $250 around this time, my storage units are 60 seconds down the road from a scrap yard intentionally for this though - its hard to expaling the same thing every time or i get bashed in comments for repaeting info 😀
