I found 2 50 gallon water heaters today and it was a chore for this 67 year old man , but going on 20 old ass to get them in my vehicle. Never give up , never give up , never give up. That is advise from a friend that lives in Alaska that I have been friends with for 54 years. I also have 3 other friends that I have been friends with for that long also.

dude, you could extract the gold from all the PCBs in those electronics, doesn't take much either just a small chemical dip and you got gold. there was at least 400 dollars right there in all those Honeywell PCBs

I just love watching these videos with all the commentary. I leave the house about once a month because I have COPD. If I ever wanted to do that, I would get me a pool ladder, haha. That way I could climb up one side and down the other. In my town, dumpster diving is almost prohibited. Everyone has their dumpsters in enclosures and those that don't, like behind stores and malls put up "no dumpster diving" signs. I was very lucky years ago. I was walking through a mall and the JC Penney store was closing. They had wood shelving they were dumping. I'm talking about 3 feet wide by 2 feet deep with a metal bar at each end to fit in a shelf frame. They used metal pins to adjust the height. I called my uncle and he came by really fast. We loaded up 40 of those shelves and 2 dozen frames and I bought rope at a dollar store. I took them home and put them all down one side of my basement and the leftovers in the garage. I used mr. clean and that wood shined like new. Each board was heavy and my neighbor said they were oak. He wanted one so I gave him one. He sanded that board down and took off the metal. He made a base and had a small mini kitchen table that he still uses to this day. He told me if I ever got rid of those shelves he'd buy them to make furniture. I watch Taco Stacks collecting metal and stuff at curbs. That got me to buy a used truck and I go and pick up old dressers for free. I bring them home in the garage and give them a scrub. I can repair anything and polish or repaint. I give them away to people in need so they have a nice used dresser and I have a hobby. Last year, I gave away 20 dressers and this year I hope to do more. Why throw away stuff in a landfill when others can get use out of it or make extra money scrapping? Mike the Scavenger is really inspiring to watch, showing hard work pays off, literally.

Hi Mike, I work for a trucking company here in Grand Rapids Michigan and we haul a lot of Herman Miller office furniture all over the country. It is all 🇺🇲American made in Holland Michigan in western Michigan. We go to New York city to California, Washington, Texas, Florida and everywhere in between.
