I went out this morning to deliver some nice items I found while curb shopping to some very cool buyers that loved what I had found, On my way back I could not resist peeking in a few dumpsters. 30 minutes later my truck is half full again with plumbing, wires and lights. Thanks Mike, now I can't walk through my garage again.
i asked my scrapyard how many ballasts they send on a load and was told they had 30k lbs waiting to go out and they end up heading to pakistan for recycling. scrap is some interesting stuff :)

With my grandad❤ hes got dementia bad now and can barely walk but i like to tell him about mikes new finds or show him the big hauls or snibbits that are fast paced-big pay as its easier to grab attention for the full thing! ❤ he can only handle somethings for a longer time like westerns or certain old shows , otherwise hes off to the races with something else😂

Mike that Motorola is a splitter for a data radio or for GPS. My camera for my vehicle has a front and rear camera and a GPS antenna showing position. Came out of a police car. Remember those cameras and 5" monitor screens you find are part of the system I have. Enjoy. Mike please save the software on dad's. Thank you. They replaced the ballasts with the led replacement. No ballast needed.

Am I the only one that goes back to watch older video's to see the diference in the way you do stuff now I like to see the way you use to scrap and the way you scrap now after you learnt all the easiest ways to strip stuff and what scrap you get more money for or the opposite with the ballest's.👍👍✌👊👊

Right at the start, cubicle lights from under the upper cabinets. Probably not one thing wrong with them, retro fit with the new LED lamps and you're good to go! All of those ballast, someone did a upgrade to a newer energy efficient version probably. I have seen that done before. The energy savings pay for the costs of replacing the old ones in a relatively short time frame and then it's money in the bank for whoever pays the power bill.

I was looking for this comment. Yep they converted their old lights to LED. The weird part is that now days you can replace the whole fixture for not much more than the kits to convert the lights. And of course replacing the whole light is much easier. I have one job right now that is replacing every light with LEDs and I get to scrap all of the lights. I'm taking about 60 lights per trip.

Check out Tucker Upper, him & Sammi do their own hats. They have a heat machine where they put the hat on & have the patch, then they press it down & voila! They have a finished hat! I don't know if they're still doing it but go back to the year old videos & you'll find some where they show you how they do it. It's a good way to start out & maybe even keep doing it because it's cheaper than having someone else do it. Way cheaper.
What I thought was strange about the ballasts was that there were two boxes right next to them and they fitted all the ballasts in perfectly. I think it was a set up and there were people hiding behind a door laughing. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😁
