I had easily the worst panic attack I've ever had in my life today (it lasted pretty much all day) and I kept trying to find videos to distract me but everything was just stressing me out more and I just want to say thank you for creating such calming content. It never ceases to amaze me what people throw away. There are different reasons. Some people just do not care about throwing things away that could be used by someone else. Other things get tossed when people get right down to the wire making a move with no interest in taking things they do not use with them and/or maybe find out they underestimated the size of truck needed. Apartments often get cleared after an eviction. If the next of kin lives out of town when a loved one passes away, it can be very inconvenient for them to dispose of estate items when they have jobs or family obligations limiting the time they can spend dealing with things in a more environmentally friendly manner. You scored big today! 🙂

I work near a university...at the end of each school year the students throw away very good stuff. For example; flat screen TVs, microwave ovens, Etc. Many of the students are from out of state and they just leave behind a LOT of things from their dorms or apartments. I often find treasures at the university dumpsters daily. I stop at them before and after work.

If Alex enjoys sewing you might consider looking for the plaid flannel type shirts when diving. These can be cut up and made into quilts! It is very easy to do. They sell really well, or you could donate to homeless people, or animal shelters! TFS Hugs!

Kelly, it cracked me up when Prilgrim spoke. I'm in love with the yellow cups. Now I have to go find some. Lol. The jacket is cute. We did the painting back in the 60s and 70s on our jeans. We also would go find really cool woven ribbons and sew across the pockets and bottom of pant legs. We put our own spin on plain clothing. Your grandma is so pretty. What a lovely person. When you say "speak" literally bark once so he knows what you want. He has the hang of it but wasn't sure. He's a smart cookie and so sweet. It's fun watching you grow in your ventures. Have seen other divers and their followers who donate school/art/craft supplies to a disadvantaged school; touches my heart when I see the donation videos (the teacher doesn't want her face shown). Yellow mugs might be used for cappuccino coffee; the larger top surface makes it easier to put a design into the cream. Finally, I was like so many other viewers screaming at the screen for you to take the pyrex containers! Alex sews? How unique. Take care.

The purses that aren't good are great to give socks, snacks and feminine hygiene products to homeless women. Just keep it in the car and hand it to a woman. If you can, stick a couple of dollars in too.

Graphic designer here. That silver metal ruler with the corking on the back was a very nice art ruler. Expensive, too. It got missed. It was sticking out of a bag on the ground. The red-orange and white sticks are Conte crayons, used for sketching. Oh, and not razors, they are Exacto knife replacement blades. Hope that helps with selling them. Love your videos. 😁

The razors are xectoknives.. and the white and grey "things to write something" are white and brown pastel to sketch... I love the art haul wish I found it... there is some that's is some value. The spraypaint is a fixative to fix your pastel/charcoaldrawings You are saying that the art piece on your wall is big... no oys a good size for that wall...

Great Hall! The small blades are replacements for exacto knives. The jean jacket is great. Some people might get it and cover the painted Parts with fabric because it's in great shape. I love the art supplies and yellow bows great score!

The razors are replacement blades for Exacto knifes. If you see any Corning ware dishes in the future, be sure to grab them because some are worth quite a bit as vintage. If you watch the first dumpster you dove in that you got those yellow cups from, there were 2 square dishes with blue flowers... that is Corning ware. Good dive and love your grandma!

Your purses..... here’s an idea. I got a bunch of purses! And small back pac type things, and filled them with combs, soap,washcloth,tooth brush, tooth paste, socks, Kleenex, etc. for women I also put in sanitary items. Men’s I put in extra socks, aftershaves, etc. most were travel size or the sizes from hotels. We put needle and thread also. Small single serve puddings, drink mix, instant coffee packs, etc Can’t remember all, but we packed the purses, back pacs FULL. Took them into Minneapolis and handed them out.

Pilgrim is an all around good dog!!! So adorable!! He was working hard to speak a couple of times he let out a little sound, then the big one !!!

Art supplies are a wonderful find always!!They aren't cheap!! Congrats!!

Why would someone throw away perfectly good art supplies? It was Daddy's money that bought them, not hers. A shoe repair shop (or saddle repair in Denton) would be able to stitch the purse strap back together and maybe cover the repair with a strip of darker color leather. The cost wouldn't be worth it unless you were going to keep it or sell it though.

I know this is OT, but it's amazing how much of a 'minimalist aesthetic' you have going on in your home! It's quite bare, especially considering how much stuff you constantly bring into it. Great to see you are not a hoarder. 😂😂 A lot of people who dumpster dive, tend to be hoarders, many don't sell or donate the items they find, they end up keeping their finds.
