I think the temperal tear is setting up the infinite number of colonies we make. I think it believes we sent 3 dupes through -and the ygo through, crashprint out and end up on a rock and begin surviving.

Take a good look at that temporal tear opener with its "arms" waving, and tell me it doesn't just scream "Danger Will Robinson!"

A small thing improvement you can do. The crashed satellite, like the wheezewort have the radiation come from their bottom tiles. So the rad generator will work best near there :)

Each time a duplicant go through the temporal tear, they return in a dimension that is the same but also had some change. Well, they return in a updated version of the game. We are seeing the multitude of Quality of life and major update through that small one step for a duplicant, but one giant leap for duplikind 😜

14:30 - Why not build solar panels, since there seems to be enough sunlight? Even if there are meteor showers, you can run repair them while the dupes are there, and that additional power will help a lot.

Having watched the VOD from Wed, I can't wait to see all the glorious chaos in this episode 😁 Edit: My disappointment is immesurable and my day is ruined. There was barely any danger in this timeline. Whiskey didn't get even close to starving everybody! Dave wasn't there to begin with, so nobody tried to hulk-smash the rocket!

You should've really put a beacon and an autosweper to the payload opener on day one. You're wasting a ton of time hand-delivering payloads from all over the map.

And they never saw Naz again. Your vacations are scary.

The temporal tear sends them back in time, to found a colony on a nearby asteroid. Some time later, that colony is under a meteor attack and is nearly destroyed; that is the point where you as the player jump in to rebuild at cycle 1. You're literally founding your own colony several months ago.

Best plan for easy living and having all duplicants in suits for ten cycles at the end of a run: Send most of the duplicants to the retirement ranch upstate. They deserve a good retirement. 😊

Inside the Temporal tear is a landing port and a big white room with an advance ability scrubber. After you're scrubbed you wait a bit in a pod until you're called by the next Printing Pod.

i don't know if you're still looking for recommendations for games but satisfactory is amazing and i think you would be able to do amazing things in it, im not sure if I'd want you to wait til update 8 or play in update 7, there is a big ? as to when update 8 is coming but that is when they are going to unreal engine 5 i think it was, plus there will be some other great QOL changes and other really cool additions but update 7 is by no means awful to play in, im just super excited for update 8 mainly for the additions of the other fuel types being able to be used in the jetpack.

Was expecting a lot more choas but radiation sickness on the rise would suffice lol can’t wait a max difficulty with max colony series.. imagine all the dumpster fire choas 😂

May I suggest sending a rocket filled with drones to start a planet. Don't even need to land. Make it a one way rocket, brings extra supplies.

The radiation shielding in the rocket is a bit thin, especially above the bedroom. I like to increase shielding by swapping the bedroom and bathroom locations.

I love how often these videos go from a simple goal like "open the Temporal Tear" to complete dumpster fire like "an irradiated binge eater ate our food while we were waiting for more medicine and coal to arrive while our power grid went down because the wires melted and also everyone's ears are popped from over 10kg of pressure per tile in their only safe haven." Nice, nice.

use tungsten obsidian and wolframite when making rocket infrastructure and you will have allot less melting also mutations are based on the maximum radiation the plant can withstand if you look at gas grass its much higher than other plants so the amount of radiation you want to mutate at a decent rate is much higher

In fact, planter boxes block only 2% of radiation instead of 52% for clay farm tiles.

Different plants have different radiaton tolerances so some need more radiation to increase mutation chances. I put my gas grass right on top of a nuclear reactor and it mutated first harvest.

Question: why not open the tear after you started your rocket, or that's not possible?

For easy living: Just sweep the bottom of a map with autosweepers.

I think that after dupes go trough temporal tear, they end up in Minecraft

About the overpressure, maybe the oxylite is overwriting the polluted oxygen from all the radiation vomit? (eta: though it shouldn't be that, because the polluted water wshouldn't emit at that pressure)

Also, name the rocket for the Tear 'The Compost Pile'. So the dupe going knows what the end result will be before launch. :D

Good morning Echo! I think when a dupe goes through the temporal tear, a parallel universe opens up with a new pod and planetoids. It's either that or this video series is coming to an end. Thanks for another great episode and congrats on another big achievement!

Have you found a mod or any other way to avoid the "Starvation" messages all the time while playing on the ravenously hungry difficulty? I use 12 different schedules, and getting a "Starvation" message once or more per minute makes it unplayable for me.
