Lol....back in the early 70,s in grade school I used those things till i had to wrap tape around my finger or untill the sting broke. favorite move as a kid was the sleeper. good old days.Duncan yo yo,s and sting ray bicycles .😂
The Imperial is one of the greatest yo-yos ever made. It is so unforgiving that it forces you to become a better player. I use it to hone my technique, and then I pick up my Duncan Hornet. They improved the Starburst response system on all of their starburst yo-yos. The strings are 100% cotton, but Duncan does sell 50-50 cott poly. I use 50/50.
@@willdpe1256 If you are getting it for a kid, then get a Duncan Butterfly XT. Today's kids do not have the patience to put in the hours to master the Imperial. The Butterfly XT is easier to learn. Pick up a copy of the Duncan Yo-yo trick book and several packs of Zeekio strings and the kid will be set to start his yo-yo journey.
The imperial is my favorite yoyoy to play catch with myself I've probably purchased 30 of these in my life. Either break them or give them away... Its always fun. Its absolutlely $4 of fun.
Duncan Imperial YoYo is not a YoYo you would ever give someone for their first YoYo.. Dylan cant hardly work it .. He should of put vegetable oil on the bottom of the string. I don't know all the MODs
No hate towards this yo-yo young ones. A lot of us grew up with this thing. This is what got us into the hobby. When yoyoing began to explode in the early 90s, It was Duncan and Yomega that were leading that charge.
Nice video. I've been loving the Duncan Torque lately and found a few decent reviews for it. If you have one could you review the Torque? Thanks Dylan your reviews are the best.
Heres a vid of me with a YoYo Factory "ND" if you would like to check it out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P2TTEb72cHw.html ... Rise up, party down, Rock this place to the ground !!!
I'm just gonna pick one up to keep in my pocket on the go so I have something to fidget with. Probably just gonna do basic throws and pulls on it no tricks. But I'm still gonna play with my v3 at home to do my tricks with
finally YESYESYES!!! and please review the duncan flying Squirrel , i saw somewhere in your yoyo collection vid, Im an olschool yoyo fun, probably not the only one in your followers, thats why your channel is great, because you review odd shit too. Flying Squirrel great old duncan, you are duncan fun, no real vid about them in the youtube, and it is a freehand yoyo :D supposedly.
Do yo-yoers ever rotate hands? So I’m left handed, but I yo-yo 🪀 with my right hand. My fricking darn shoulder hurts so bad, from tossing this damn Duncan Imperial around haha. Like I’m in actual pain 😂😂😂. Maybe I was throwing too hard, or is it common to be a little sore at first? I used to be kind of a beast, but back in the day I had the fireball, and metal omega that was expensive. I just don’t remember there being any debilitating pain involved from yo-yo-ing 😢😂😂😅
@@_hdox3880 loose string tension will make the yoyo sleep easier but harder to return, meanwhile tight string tension will make the yoyo return easier and sleep harder.
i never knew that yoyo's with bearings existed. all those years as a kid trying to make the yoyo sleep, not knowing my yoyo probably was not designed well enough sleep.
