It was a bit more than just confidence for him. After those 2020 playoffs, teams finally had extensive footage of him to study, which made it easier for defenses to shut him down effectively. That's why his shooting numbers fell off. But he adjusted his game- got better at dribbling, became a better defender, and started driving a lot more. Became an all around smarter player. Love seeing him succeed, man. Bro deserves it
Nba fans in a nutshell lol. Don’t worry, I’m a mavericks fan who was begging for them to get rid of Kristaps, and now I want him back. I would rather have him than Christian wood
He improved a lot this year for all you none-Heat fans. He’s improved his overall dribble, dribble drive, upped his layup package, and does more than catch and shoot now. Next step is to improve his footwork some more to make him a better defender.
That’s why you don’t overpay shooters like the nba does. I know this playoffs he has been more then just a shooter but before this he was just a shooter and unless your same, either curry brother, or a couple other guys you shouldn’t pay them a lot because you can get long periods of time where shots ain’t falling so you’re not much of a benefit to the team and that’s why Robinson didn’t play much
Those DNP wasn’t because he wanted to took them, Max Strus was playing better than him according to someone in the Heat organization so there wasn’t time play for Duncan Robinson so the had him on DNP until Tyler Herro was out in the last playoff with a hand injury.
Any other team and he probably gets traded at mid season especially with them not in the Top 6 in the conference and fighting for a play in spot. I bet if he was on the Lakers they would have traded him
It wasn't good for Miami, it's just the injuries 2 him and depo allowed for Duncan, Strus, Vincent and Martin to get more playing time. To their credit they've stepped it up big time. But, Tyler is the heats 2nd best playmaker. Tyler and Jimmy are the only heat players that can constantly create their own shots. Also, people seem to forget that the heat made it to the finals and were 1 shot away from a 2nd finals appearances with Tyler as their 2nd leading scorer. The heat are just blessed to have such a deep team to be able to make up for such a lost.
He is still a defensive liability and teams often pick him on isolation cause he has bad hands and footwork. He often make questionable plays and only good off the catch and can’t make plays and create his own shot.
@@somethinglikethat2176 they can share it if you want, but Duncan Robinson should have never deserved that contract in the first place. At least Ben Simmons was good before all of the power got taken from him by the monstars
