@marinbikesofficial I tried going through the warranty team with tredz as it needs a new cassette for back wheel as it sounds bone dry and is loud. and the chain sticking was heavy buildup of paint on the front sprocket with is fine now it’s worn in. The warranty team have basically said I have to send it back and choose a different make as there out of stock witch i don’t want to do as I wanted the 2024 sq1 specifically. Only option I have is to pay for a new cassette myself.

@@liltimbob4931 Provided the axle-crown measurement is no more than 10mm longer than the stock fork, you'll be fine (and won't void your warranty).

Sorry, the San Quentin 2 and 3 models have the longer travel fork, along with a host of other features.

@@marin_bikes I understand, although since the video is clearly specifying the San Quentin 1, you should have clarified that the San Quentin 2 and 3 have the bigger travel forks, other than that, I absolutely love this bike and i’m planning to get it at the end of this year, Thanks Marin!!
