@@PurpleLightning6was9 That is because they are a Private school, anybody can go there if they pay the tuition costs, or if they cannot afford some offer scholarships, which is great for the student because they get to go a school that is usually much better academically.

Public schools are held to a different standard. Texas rules state you cannot transfer purely for athletic purposes if your school district academically is similar but the sports are on different levels of competitive. It's been a deal for years. Texas does not permit open enrollment unless its a charter school or a private school.

Race play a part idc what anybody say. Duncanville whole team is always black. I'm from California I pay attention to the patterns of rule enforcement in highschool sports. Specifically in basketball and football.

It’s not hard to play a sport and get good grades, it’s difficult being an average athlete who gets barred from being on the team because administrators cater to underperforming students with a name

@@The_Drum_Bum maybe it's not hard for you because you probably have your parents and have somewhere to live. But a lot of people have to work, be an athlete and be a student. It ain't easy because if they don't work they don't have a place to live and or a plate of food to eat. In my case, when the sport season started my grades dipped just because I didn't have time to rest or enough time to study. Because I was going from working an overnight job, straight to school, from school home to rest, from rest to practice and back to work again. Because practices are held around 6-8pm...never mind if you play baseball, their practices and games are really late. Obviously not everyone reaches a D1 lvl but at that lvl people care about the sport rather than athletes being students. Because of all the traveling they do, they don't have to attend class like everyone else.

I'm from McKinney born and raised and say if you didn't beat the on the floor you don't deserve it. Somebody was really hating on Duncanville, athletes transfer all the time for athletic purposes, people need to just look around at the area and see that it is common place, not saying it is right but singling out???

Coaches go around threatening teachers to change grades. Principals get money for wins so they let head Coaches run the schools
