Dundee Drawdown: a Presumpscot canoe adventure 

This video chronicles a canoe trip taken with ‪@unclejohnthezef‬ down the Presumpscot River on September 22nd, with the intention of viewing and running the rapids exposed when Dundee Pond was drained for dam repairs. We started in Eel Weir Canal, went up into Sebago Lake Basin, and into the Presumpscot River which brought us to the Dundee Rapids. We ran some challenging low-water obstacles, saw interesting artifacts and geology, and even got to check out the hole in Babb’s covered bridge where a truck fell through. Our takeout was at Shaw Park, which made our trip almost 9 miles and 6 portages long.
