@@sylent7638 he 100% could have been charged. he deliberately dropped clues over a month long period in order to be interrogated. But the only cop that choose to pursue the matter, Coyote, got pulled off the case for what appeared to be at the time, nonsense reasons. I don't think Coyote has been on the server in months since then. They destroyed one person's roleplay to constantly play arena matches that often leave people on both sides more frustrated than fulfilled.
Sadly this is probably going to be true. 2.0 cops were really the only time I felt the main cops were distinct enough and provided a range of rp. Through most of 3.0 and now 4.0 it’s just a chase the W mentality which means cop lack any variety and incredibly dull.
Those guys are just taking advantage of the chaos and content while it lasts as soon as something is done about it you wont see them nearly as often. Somebody just has to take charge.
Prodigy isn't perfect but it's a lot better than what NoPixel has to offer. Actual devs and admins that are on top of things. You don't have to wait a year for things to be fixed. A gun can be broken and a dev will fix it ASAP for example. I also haven't seen mechanics or ideas on Prodigy that limit RP like on NP. NP just seems like a steerless mess. Nobody is at the wheel. It really blows my mind people are sticking with NP. All for an invite? If 5.0 doesn't invite good RPers it will be a mess anyway again. And even if they do invite good RPers, the chance is still there that the devs and admins will make a mess out of it.
90 percent of the server doesn’t RP and expects the big streamers to create content for them. I cannot name a single cop that actually Rps since Saab, Aziz and Tessa left. CG had 3-4 major server Arcs that the cops did nothing with or W Chased. The Clowns have their Ray Mond Arc that they’ve been milking because they don’t want the views to decline. Buddha has tried to give his grinders and the PD shit to do but people either ruin it or don’t do anything with it. Benji and Ray have had 2-3 Arcs of their own that has given content to a lot of people but help in absolutely nothing server wise. Manor has had internal arcs nothing for the server though. Besties it’s literally just Forehead and Jemal that RP. Dundee and his group try to give cops RP and end up getting shafted. The rest of the smaller gangs and groups bring absolutely nothing.
He didn't want to ask such a big thing to get so many people whitelisted. But he really should just do it. Having entire Hydra and BBMC on Prodigy would raise Prodigy so much.

That's why prodigy is so good. Sure it has a LOT of problems. But there are serious amounts of accountability on the server. Anything wrong with certain rpers, anything wrong with mechanics, anything wrong with balance its addressed immediately. The owner literally spends hours every week/month talking to chat being open with changes, bans, etc. They're upfront and open. He talks about the culture they want on prodigy, and why the changes are a a move towards that. Meanwhile we know nothing about who "manages" nopixel, the owners, and the main owner doesn't even talk about it for months. As far as we know koil doesn't even know whats going on in the sever. So yeah I'm fine with metagaming arena shooters cause they get banned, but on nopixel you have vdming, rdming, fail rp, meta, and nvling cops that don't rp and its been like that since the beginning of 3.0. Its rotten to the core.

Prodigy has better mechanics and features overall. It's sad how bad NP has become now, they said 4.0 was going to be groundbreaking but it's a complete shitshow.
Its because NoPixel went from being an RP Server to being a Streamer Server. Everyone's there strictly for content for their streams, and sadly most of their audiences only tune in for chases and shootouts. Not what they consider the "boring" parts.
Most of them either just lazy or never that talented to begin with. Chase and shootout are the most easier view and sub counts farm. People don't extend rp anymore, get the W and their viewers will like it and start pogging
The chokehold NoPixel has on these streamers is incredible, considering theres other viable servers now the fact that they decide to stay on there is crazy stockholm syndrome.
It’s the smaller streamers thinking they’ll get the boot or punished if they try something else. It’s extremely hard to get into the nopixel server some people will never do anything to lose any sort of Prio. Any gang that’s not Lang Gang, CG, Hydra or very few select people in other gangs can’t afford to lose their Prio. Not only that but the decline in views they also can’t afford, not everyone is a millionaire like Buddha, Lord Kebun, Ramee, Desmehdi, Zerkaa, Valkyrae and Fuslie and Dundee.
I think its more that they are the ones that built the house just to watch squatters come in and take over the place. I get what you are saying but I still understand why streamers especially the ones that made the 2.0 so special keep wanting Koil to take control of the server again

I think that's one of my biggest annoyances with GTARP. There are so many good options out there, but you'll get these diehard nopixel stans who keep huffing the copium of nopixel being the best server out there. Like, some of these people would rather quit GTARP as a whole than play on a different server... it's insane.
Truly miss the 2.0 days where cops actually had distinct character and wasn’t stuck in the chase the W mentality. Sadly it’s one way 4.0 has failed. 5.0 will be the same if management actually cared about nopixels future.
problem with start of 4.0, crime was high risk low rewards. SO outta 10 jobs you do, if you get caught 1 time it negates other 8-9 jobs so you break even. SO crim's had to go hard and ratty.
there werent any crime jobs either to help you make money when you got caught...literally forced to be a civ or once you had a record you had to be a crim where all your options were robbing civs who were grinding because thats all you could do
Crims should take it upon themselves to investigate things. In 3.0 Kebun made a detective business. They can try that again, They just need the right people. The crims will hand out punishments. The crims will be the judges. And they'll just make their own government.
Firstly none of the criminal have the same influence on the server to be able to do that like Kebun could. Secondly regardless if you clearly find PD members guilty there’s an inner circle clique that allows those PD members to get away with things. It would just lead to disappointment
It's a mentality thing, same with spam tazing and spam cuffing, breaking cuffs should earn you a chase, at the very least a decent chance to get one, if not ... Just remove the mechanic to break cuffs, what's the point of having it if they will just taze you relentlessly until you literally can't break cuff anymore
A lot of the bad state of NP started IMO at start of 3.0. It was slow but it started then when PD had class 2 weapons from start and would "class 2 for everything" mind set. It forced crim's when they got class 2's to always carry them cause cops always were using them, not all cops but 95% of them did. Mid to later 3.0 when admin's decided to axe class 2's cops lost their's instantly and crim's still had whatever they had. Cops REFUSED to even go to calls cause crim's had class 2's when cops didn't. Everything from start to their engrained an entitled mindset in to PD cause they would get all the buff's but rarely get nerfs. whereas crim's would always get nerfs and rarely any buff's. it was 99 outta 100 buff's favored pd, 99 outta 100 nerfs hurt crimes more. It really doesn't help when pretty much every admin/dev was a cop main for most time they were on server except a handful.
management is doing their best to destroy this server, they are so far gone i believe koil has just accepted the fact that NP is done for. Its crazy how fucked the server is now. The streamers wanted them to step back and let them run things in the server (like DOJ, PD and other shit) and they ran it into the ground because they have no clue what they are doing. The PD and DOj is so messed up right now, i dont think they CAN fix it at this point. Egos are a massive hindrance to the server itself. Releasing 5.0 or 6.0 or 7..0 isnt going to fix the garbage that is going on.
Saddest part of this all, and probably the most poignant to the point of how hard it is to RP with cops... That he was hoping for a stolen car part *arc*. My god how far arcs have slid from grandiose stories to small episodic stories. He isnt asking for much and is labeling it as an arc, so many people are starved for RP and content.
Its been hard to watch anyone playing on Nopixel. Been a breath of fresh air watching everyone play on Prodigy. The devs and admits actually listen to the roleplayer.
I mean this has been an issue for a LONG time. It's always the argument of "when a criminal does (X) it makes it not for PD, so to stop (X) we added this mechanic". In reality, cops should learn to adapt to that which means not always getting a win. Sometimes you are outsmarted or just bad luck, but it's like PD overall does not get that. However, I do think the majority of PD right now are either not good at RP or just do not enjoy RP anymore.
No pixel is dying and cops and admins ruining it even more which is a good thing it's time for good roleplayers to move to Prodigy and leave NP to rotten
The problem is that there is no pacing in rp on the server. It is constantly cop baiting because crims can't seem to fight each other instead of getting in shootouts with the cops. Most crims want content for their viewers and their channels for $$. Did you ever thing cops are tired of chasing some crim groups because of this?
I do wonder why Dundee is so loyal to nopixel… many left for a reason. I’ll keep sayin it, 5.0 fails if admins don’t do admin things. Like hydra leaving, cg leaving. Comedy relief characters leaving. It’s not for no reason, they’re avoiding the server for a reason…. Unironically nopixel needs prodigy style cops etc. prodigy fosters RPing cops over catching crims and it’s great. Sometimes they catch em, sometimes they don’t and usually everyone had fun
Hydra, besties, and manor have wiped them multiple times before they got class 2's. This was after CG left, too. Right now the PD is overpowered, though.

NoPixel leadership continues to be the cause of the NoPixel downfall. Got all these big streamers in to get eyes, then turned the server into a miserable hell hole and faded all of them out. This server is a joke and the Egos on it are disgusting. Devs, Admins, etc. All trash
If crims would be able to steal parts cops should be able to seize parts because they are used in a crime, no questions asked. That would be a fair trade :)

it started at 8 cops and usually it is limited to 8. but there are exceptions for when they can bring +2 with a max of i believe 12 cops. (THE VERY MAX) so at most its 5v12 which is still doable and usually only happens if u shoot cops or a chase goes on longer than 1 hour as well as if u pit cops over 100+ MPH.
Watch Ricky Rizz and his group. They aren't CG and they have a ton of fun. Watch Tyrone and his crew. Watch Luther. Watch Hobo Jack and the rest of the homeless. I've watched A number of cops who are fun. There are plenty of groups out there having fun. It's just not as easy to find their streams since they aren't well known.
