The "what is wrong with me today" line is delivered so perfectly. Anybody who has ever played a sport has heard that and probably said it. It's like a defense mechanism so people know/think you're usually better, and also lets your teammates know you're frustrated with yourself which tends to make them ease off being frustrated with you themselves.

I'm like Kevin at the end hitting the 3 pointers but I've said the "what is wrong with me today" line. If you rely on shooting and your shot is off then you become as good as a bad player and it can be frustrating. That is why on sucky shooting days I crash the offensive boards like a mad man. However I've had guys on my team like Michael that can't shoot but usually are so full of themselves that they usually think their bricks are part of the winning strategy and they don't question what is wrong with themselves.

2:25 was actually a great play. Jim sets a good screen for Dwight and Ryan makes a beautiful swing pass to hit him in stride. Stanley clears out underneath the rim and his defender goes with him and Michael runs the baseline to get open for an easy jumper. No one comes out to defend him so Dwight goes and hits a sweet pull-up jumper.

I think the idea was to make them seem wrong for each other, thats why they never seem to agree or enjoy each others company. Then when we see Pam with Jim she has changed dramatically into a happy woman, and that why when we see Roy later in the series at his wedding he looks so happy and is very successful.
