The games not even in open beta yet. I think you can forgive it. Besides there is plenty of gameplay in this trailer cut I’d argue. Not continuous but enough to get an idea.
@@bigppenergy3082 i think thats a bit hasty though personally. The game isnt claiming anything, its not ready yet. Just showing off a concept but theres still plenty of gameplay shown here.
@@NZMPlays The whole issue is that so, so many games have done that type of bait and switch. Put out a trailer saying it's ''gameplay'' or how gameplay is supposed to be like. And then the game comes out and it's NOTHING like what they implied or presented it. When you release these types of videos, you give the player an impression of how it might look. and if it ends up looking like it's different, you just fucked up. I don't disagree with the guy. Game can be good, game can be bad. It can roll either way, but this trend of releasing videos that try to pretend it's gameplay when it's not really is just intentionally trying to screw with people.
@@Sarnatuile well firstly, this video is a supercut that I put together from A BUNCH of different videos I sourced from all over. All of it is from alpha or early beta footage from Funcom. None of it is claiming to be final gameplay. This is just to get all the trailer clips into one easy to navigate video for interested players.
amazing what playing a game and ignoring the toxic community around it will do for ya. conan exiles has been one of my top games and I love it but I never paid attention to anyones commentary about it. if I did id probably be negative and salty about it….
@@nathanknepper1431 I think you are wrong. If you like the game, other peoples opinions wouldn't make you like it less, or make you salty. i say that specifically about "toxic" community and comments, because it's possible you would change your view of a game if you read or heard some constructive criticism but even then I doubt it. If you like the game enjoy it and if you get affected by toxic people, ignore them. It's a wise thing to do. I, however, have a certain problem with Funcom, and I've no desire to go into details but I've stopped supporting companies i have issues with. I believe I'm in the minority; if a game is good, people don't care about any other crap or issues, they play the game, and good for them. Time will tell if more people have bad experiences with the company or the game, or maybe, hopefully, less.
@@MrTbob418 well Im just confused. a toxic community can and usually does promote groupthink where everyone just files in line with the same opinion. I ignore that and as a result am able to have an opinion that is my own and not instructed by reddit, steam forums, yt comments, or anything else. that aside, I understand not supporting companies that you have an issue with. I was hyped for Starfield…… look where that went. What I don’t understand is what your issues are with funcom. I have seen a lot of hate towards funcom yet no one gives an actually solid answer with factual details.
game isnt out yet - give them a second to get out of closed beta. But i understand your point and to some degree I agree with you. I think a measured cautious approach is valid
