Did a game with the Fremen yesterday - rushed the two buildings that give you bonuses for allying with Sietches. Three down the right side of Expansion, then some Eco. When I activated the first one from Statecraft, I started having no resource problems for a while. Ended up pushing for both Choam and Hedge. (31% CHOAM, won by Hedge). It was fun.
One of the fremen tech (left side of green I believe) gives you a bunch of miscellaneous bonuses for surrounding a deep desert, can't remember exactly what they are. It sort of feels like if it's easy enough to do the bonuses are worth it, but the tech isn't worth sacrificing a really good build path just to surround one. And it's often better to keep a deep desert between u and an enemy anyway
@@dylanhughes8457The most important bonus is that it becomes your territory, you don't lose supply within it and it give you fast and rock clear access to wormride to any bordering area
