Fun fact. In the 1984 version. They actually used tiny glass beads instead of real sand for the sand worm sequence. I hear that stuff will shred your lungs if inhaled

It's crazy how it is the foundation for all these popular RTS games and I see virtually nothing about it on RTS history or Dune videos online. Only game I can still play for hours and totally lose track of time.
