Great video, and thx for the series. Two things about Vernius that wasn't in the video is that they can branch out from nodes into new regions as long as it only connects to 1 region with a node, you could fx have taken the spice zone with the renegades and you could have set a neural noda there, and another bonus from the nodes is that they reduce the water upkeep of buildings by 1 so you need fewer water generators or you can spend more on water batteries, this also means that you get 0 water upkeep on buildings in 2 wind regions with the "Insulated valley" tech.
Dude, all of your videos are phenomenal. I love the random themes the videos take, they are super entertaining, and your thumbnails are some of the best I’ve seen on the platform! In fact, the only guide I can’t find on your channel is a guide to the CHOAM market, is one in the works? (All of your other guides were SUPER helpful btw)

10:20 it's worth pointing out that harkonnen have crafts workshops on the next technology: so if you do obfuscate the crafts workshop tech, you won't stop harkonnen. They have it on the tech below.
Personal opinion. Vernius is hardest to play but has a lot of late game potential and can explore many paths to victory. You can play as both a spy master and as a diplomat to keep people fighting each other instead of you.
The -1 power/-1 fuel cell on railgun drones is actually a really good deal if you need the fuel cells and are using a lot of railgun drones. Railgun drones have so high attack power that -1 is a miniscule reduction for them. Similarily, +2 power while tethered is less than a 10% boost, so fairly negligible.
I feel personal they are the hardest too play. I have in the early game so often money problems with them, because i buy 1 dam think too much. And then i am more or less in the ... .
Great video once again, but its Sub-oid, like sub-marine, sub-terranean, or sub-ordinate. "Sub" meaning below/under. They're sub-humanoids aka sub-oids.
Can i share a secret? Beefy mek with energy efficiency, guild collaboration (with 3 analysis drones) and of course both armor upgrades make them quite affordable. Then we make our s base have two master armorer buffs to make them 10 armor.

So I had an issue with Vernius. I researched Physical Wiring, the assassin tech. Went to do Infiltration cells on Corrino. Said 0/2. I placed one, but then I couldnt place more. I couldnt do another operation of Infiltration cell. Not sure what happened, and why I only had 1 cell when I should have had a few more. My territory was bordering 2 of theirs. First time trying to do an Assassination. Because I only had 1 cell, I could only have 2 people on it. Am I missing something to make more cells????
I have seen strange bugs with physical wiring before, but not this particular one. The only requirement for putting all cells on someone is 1 level of information on them. Maybe your first agent got captured after the first cell, then the level dipped down to 0 and though you could put 2 agents back you were trying to do cells before the level grew back above one? Beyond that, I can't say what went wrong. Sorry to hear about that.
@@daevohk So the 0/2 Cells, Do u place one then have to fund the Op again, then place etc? Assuming with Phys Wiring that 0/2 wont change until your freebies are gone? It was just weird because I couldnt run the OP again even at 2 Info level., I could for the other factions but not them
@@Piper0185 yes should be pay the 100, place a cell. If the cell isn't adjacent to your purple line it'll increment up to 1 of 2. If it was adjacent it'd be still 0/2 and you could continue to prep more until you were 2/2. Very strange

Been helpful. not sure which faction I like the most really. Vernius was fun and honestly felt the most straightforward. Atraides I felt boring, won with ALL council seats filled by me lol. achievement for them. Harkonnen, I didnt feel the money bags coming in really xD Fremen are flavorful need more Exp. Smugg are.. complicated. Corino felt ok. Ecaz just confuses me xD Def want edge map. A Series idea for you, Mix and match random councilors and try and achieve diff victory types. Def would love to see a Tier list of the factions for each Win Con, from your experience, maybe an explanation of why as well. No one else has really done that.
I don’t really agree Ix is the weakest at all. If anything I think they are one of the strongest. Their military is weak, and their ability to get any win condition is weak, but that is completely made irrelevant by just how much control they have over the game. With the ability to delete a research from the game they can make one of the 4 win conditions impossible to achieve for anyone on the board. With patents and their research boost they slowly the other leading players to a crawl in their plans. With their truces sharing research they force players to stay friendly with them, less half of their tech suddenly vanish. You are completely in control of the game the whole time and as long as you do let any of the other player have any of that control that is rightfully yours, they are little more than puppets for you to watch fight each other hopelessly until you win. They are also the STRONGEST assassination faction in the game. You can have infinite cells and even remove the enemies ability to have a third counter intelligent slot. Just watch out for EMP bombs. Pretty much Ix is the master mind faction for when you want to roleplay as the shadowy two faced villain like Lex Luthor. My favourite thing to do is to play the whole game with maintenance centers if I have Harronan or the Emperor and then half way through the game when I see them expanding, disable maintenance centers and send there economy into chaos, and if they are choaming then disable compound interest. I also love using suboids in red army wave tactics since they have free upkeep, use manpower which you don’t use for anything else, recruit twice as fast as other units, and are stronger the more are in a fight.
@@daevohkOh! Also Suboids have an armory upgrade that lets them bypass armor which makes them horrifying. Their biggest weakness is splash damage because of their horde tactics and low health.
