I saw Dune and I love your take on it! I did not read the novel, but I saw David Lynch's movie and I really love Denis Villeneuve's poignant vision, the empty spaces, the pace, the mystery.
Agreed, Villeneuve did an incredible job with the visuals in this movie. Admittedly, the book and the movie are amazing for vastly different reasons, the book is definitely much more technical/political
