My father born and raised on Townhill rd. I have visited a few times and love Dunfermline. Unfortunately I was never able to visit with my Dad to hear his stories of childhood. My great grandfather. Is buried in the cemetery close to the football stadium.
@@philwification small world. I think my dad and brother were #4 Townhill Rd. My uncle said it was gone. I thought I found it one visit but he would know more than me. that was prob 1940.
That's a great collection of photos! Some great reminders of what Dunfermline once looked like. Kept stopping on many of the photos and mentally overlaying what the view is like now. Thanks for posting this - I'll keep dipping into it to help refresh memories.....
