In this episode we'll head to Karakol, the trekking and outdoors activities capital of Kyrgyzstan. We enjoy the Dungan cold noodles at the ashlan-fu alley of small bazaar, visit the 2nd largest saline lake (Issyk Kul) in the world and spend a day hiking in the beautiful nature of Jeti Oguz.
Thanks for the amazing experience Kyrgyzstan. Hope to visit again some day! Well, I'm still dreaming of the Ala Kul trek, so I have to come back! :D

Hello my friend! You visited only karakol and bishkek. You must see another places in Kyrgyzstan. South of Kyrgyzstan also is beautiful. You can find information in google. For example Sary-chelek lake.

Thanks a lot. I would personally prefer July. I think it’s great time to go there! In fact probably best month for visiting Karakol if you wanna do the Ala Kul trek especially. December can be very cold.

I have some small questions. How you go to Karakol from Bishkek and how did you go to the mountains near Karakol ? And hotels names if you don't mind 👍

From Bishkek to Karakol you can easily take the local bus (marshrutka). It's cheap and I think the whole journey takes around 7 hours. Of course taxis are available too but it's much more expensive but also faster. We took taxi actually as our time was quite limited. In Karakol we stayed in Hillside Karakol. It's a bit outside of the city center but it was totally fine for us. Just a short nice walk to center. It's a very basic but good and clean hotel and the owner Ahmet speaks very good English and is really helpful, so you can arrange taxis, treks and everything through him easily and for good price. Also in Karakol center you can go to Karakol Visitor Center. They speak good English and are very friendly and helpful too! :)
