i am afraid to say it seems to be the same all around our coast i spent 2 years just driving around our coast line ,and very few places where fishing as well as when i was a young un and most where dire

So sad to see Dungeness now. A shadow of it's former self. Been there but not fished there this century. Had some great catches 1970s and 1980s but mostly at Dengemarsh side. Long walk from carpark (now gone) but well worth it! We don't even get the same frosty calm weather!

Used to have great sessions and all nighters there and Dengemarsh back in the seventies sad to hear its gone downhill although I think that is pretty general

Used to fish Dungeness in the 80s before i moved abroad it was an awesome winter venue .

Years ago i dug ragworm double the size of the worms you had we got 7 pence a worm on a tide i could manage 100 to 130. Wish i could do now .

Back in the day Dungeness was the first place you'd go to for a cod it was Chesil but nowadays it's terrible sad to see
