This is wildly exciting but I am very disappointed that it is digital only. I would hope in the future that you do some sort of arrangement for digital+Physical. I get that the world is shifting to VTT, but I can't display my collection on a bookshelf if everything is on DDB.

@@acxbry I agree with you, but keep in mind it's a bit more complicated than it sounds. If you print codes into the books or put a flyer with them inside, you'd likely have to plastic wrap the books which is not ideal for a number of reasons. If you give them to retailers, you'll have to establish a system where they are guaranteed to give them out with each purchase. And you run the risk of some people just selling them individually for more profit. And if they made it so you can only get digital + physical at certified shops like their websites, small-time bookshops will suffer from even fewer sales than they already get.

Hope these are the first steps towards something greater. Would love to see Grim Hollow, Twisted Taverns, more DM'sGuild stuff and hopefully even ways to share custom classes within campaigns. I've been reluctant to use Beyond as a DM (though it is quite useful as a player). This might change that.

Just watch the Dudes video talking all about the new release coming to dndbeyond! Love the partnership with ghost fire games, fingers crossed that we get the grim hollow series before to long! A great sign for continued 3rd party supporty. Wizards has got to realize this is what fans want. More options, more worlds, more original characters. This is DnD at it’s finest simply because it’s collaborative amd thats the whole point of dnd to collaborate
