im a titan, and i never done any of the skips in the game, because i thought they are hard to execute. but now, after you explained them, they even seem fun, thanks for the video!
Could u possibly do a tutorial on the sparrow tech/slipstream skips on grasp? I think that would be super helpful. None of the guys who upload their speedruns or tutorials explain how to do it
in case you care here is how the skip is done that lets you skip 2nd encounter (also, this is the current wrs skip pov by kiooce for reference with routing and all that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JV7l1y0HWTc.html) (additionally, here is an irb tutorial from OP, not technically required and slightly simplified but might help you with troubleshooting: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-seA1yZgSA5c.html) (also, obviously you need to slipstream but there is an insane amount of tutorials out there) - do the normal oob to ogre - set your spawn for the first irb as shown in the wr - sword into the arena as you start the encounter, you need to be oob in order to get to the oob sparrow section. just follow the wr, straight forward. - follow the route and die to the load zone for the irb. this needs to happen before the encounter finishes so that you get resed by the encounter complete which will finish this first irb and put you into position for the hard part. - from where you spawn from the irb, do the slipstream to the same area as shown in the video. drop to roughly the same height and setup the second irb of your own nade as shown in the video (shockingly this is not easy at all) or your own sparrow (however this makes the follow up section longer) - after you managed to kill yourself on the nade in the spot similar to the video you just have to get to the next load to die to which is the one above the crystal cave after the sparrow section. if you use the wrs method, spawning on your own stasis nade is nice because you can just hit the two shatterskates (one of your sparrow) to quickly reach the load you need to die on (if you didnt do the nade thing but killed yourself on your own sparrow you now have to hit the same slip again but get to the load above the crystal cave to die to instead). its important that whoever your teammates are dont drop down into the flag area of 2nd encounter before you died to the load as the mission update that occurs there is required to res you to complete your irb. - complete irb. if you did everything correctly, you will spawn inside the vandal box and you can ghorn it to instakill it and finish the encounter right away. - optional but if everyone dies inside the 2nd encounter loadzone without ever touching the floor and your ghorn kills the vandal during the light fading timer everyone will spawn at that loads default spawn which is at the top inside the shield and right before the boss room - eZ profit
Cool video, any idea where to look for some of the more advance skips used in speedruns? Mainly looking for the grasp 1-2 where they skip the 2nd encounter from getting in the box with the one enemy after some sparrow tech
That would be the irb. I'm sad to say I don't do that one so I can't really explain it but I do know that it's more difficult than all the other skips shown. If you aren't sure how to do it I'd suggest going to the how to discord dungeon. discord.com/invite/proph
Stupid question, but it's bugging me. How is the hip-fire on your mountaintop so tight? Was the recorded pre nerf? Because if that reflects the actual accuracy you're getting our of your mountaintop, I'm jealous of your roll
You have to wait by The doors to hit the checkpoint. Wait for your teammate to fall down the hole at the end of first before continuing and then it should pull to boss
@@MugEnthusiast id like you to give 1 good reason why anyone would do any of these skips if not for speed?? also no newer player is going to dsm and shatterskate/wellskate in their casual dungeon runs if they are not doing speeds.
I’ve rewatched 1:30 twenty times and still can not figure out what that air move was. Was that an Icarus? I think I’m just a tired Titan main that needs to sleep before I watch this 😅
Hey there, so to explain, my friend sent in that clip, and it is him shatter skating, then him shooting himself with mountaintop. The reason it looks like an icarus dash is because he flicked his camera. I hope that clears it up, and if it doesn't, I can try to explain more
Death spawn manipulation. You obscure your spawn as you hit a new load. Then, when you spawn, you will be put where the default spawn is. So you will be put put somewhere different from where your res was.
@@MugEnthusiastuh since my PlayStation bugged and my internet was shit for like 2 weeks I couldn’t do anything and the ps big removed a lot of my friends (prolly u aswell) And yh no one joins my farms so I’m only running pit for fun and I started playing ow2
