Tristram is a game where we play as the Mayor of the fantasy town of Tristram. If you're unfamiliar with Tristram (as I was!), it's one of the main towns from the Diablo series of games, and when we take over it's a little worse for wear.
Some pesky demons have destroyed various bits of the town so we have to try to fix things up and also stop the demons from coming back!
To help we summon Heroes to delve into the dungeons underneath the chapel. When we're ready to enter the dungeon our Heroes assemble into various groups and then go fighting! We just watch on as an observer, seeing what Heroes do well, which flee and which fall in combat.
As the Heroes defeat the baddies they earn gold which we're able to use to repair buildings in Tristram like the smithy and the alchemist, shops which allow our Heroes to buy better gear.
As our Heroes fight they pick up experience and level up, but are we able to find the right combination of Heroes to make it all the way to the end of the dungeon and defeat the big bad?
