I first learned to play D&D in state prison and i actually ended up running an evil campaign with a few young gangbangers that was very much like this, the theme had to with street gangs in Waterdeep, Corrupt Nobles, Drow drug suppliers versus Zhentarim operatives, Tge Xanathar ended up hiring the PCs to kill a group of Paladins and City Watch investigating Street crimes etc. It was actually cool as shit and we had a great time, eventually the players all ended up dead because thats the fate that lifestyle often leads too... Good times
They actually let you play it. How did you get the dice and books? I spent a month in county in my twenties and there was only the jail library and no dnd there and dice would probably be considered contraband, yet we had playing cards so hmm. I hated that place I left in the winter and the guards conveniently "lost" my leather jacket.
@@midnightshade32 i was in state prison and the rules of what you are allowed to have and possess are different , i beat up and extorted a child molester who had ordered the books from an outside vendor, and as for the the dice, they are definitely contraband, we used playing cards and a chart system to determine everything in a random fashion from d20 all the way down to d4
@@overdosebeats2152 wow, that's prison ingenuity there. Great idea with the cards. The most I ever seen was with food and lifting weights of bags filled with water.
@@Drakijy well all the player characters ended up dead in the game, a few of them were trying to kill each other over power disputes, and as far as i know one the players finished his sentence and went home, and within two weeks was shot 3 times in the face 3 times (he survived) by a family member of someone he "allegedly" murdered years before, we were from the same section of Philly so i heard about it around the neighborhood, and another of the players got out and did good for a while but went back for a 60 year sentence for shooting a couple people and getting caught with a fully automatic AK, at least thats what the streets say, so i dunno for sure but you know...
@@WEBTEAM1000 These TROLLS clearly know nothing about the hood....and they clearly have no understanding of what CRIMINALS WITH BADGES do to minorities every day.
I was having the exact same reaction. Definitely couldn't wear black and black nor red and black to school when I was a kid. Some of it was funny, but some of it was not.
Lol alright...this was too perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed this. I’m black and the taser shit was too hilarious and sadly accurate as hell. Good stuff y’all.
Is anybody else noticing that she is "cutting" crack with bath salts? That's not how "cutting" works. But it is a good way to make sure your customers return. Or die.
Found you guys on Facebook. Tracked you down and here I'm starting from season 1. You guys are honestly such a good mix of comedic energy that it almost bounced off the screen and hit me in the face. This was perfection on a lot of levels. Hope you guys keep doing what you love
Holy crap this is 4 years old. I remember watching this when i first got into dnd. And you guys were one of the first groups i ever watched. Let alone channels that responded to my comment lol
Utoob Isgarbage It's just me being a weirdo. I spotted it, and then I couldn't take my eyes of it. It was like it just got larger and larger, staring back at me..
You can't ready actions outside combat, essentially giving you an extra turn in combat. That's what the surprise round is for. The player would simply say, "I'll stay alert to duck in case of a driveby." That's enough information for the Dungeon Master to determine whether you're surprised.
Justen Mann I don't often speak for everyone on certain matters but I can safely say that we the youtube and DnD community want more. If you've got the time please continue this crazy ride xD
