I was in a party that fought a group of Shadows once. Daylight may be a situational spell, but I was glad I had it prepared that night.

Love the style in which you describe this series. Not a fan or player of any system after first edition advanced, honestly more fond of basic/expert than any other version. Just like the outlook you have provided for some old favorites.

Shadows most certainly sound like something from story idea someone I know is working on. Where the shadow can be insanely strong in the right scenario however a lot of the weakness of D&D Shadows were removed because of mistake someone else did when trying to take out the source of the story idea's shadow

What happens if the Good person use necrotic spells or veriest fugal classes ?

Well as i talked about in my Zombie video casting these spells is a evil act. So a good person would have this effect their alignment, they would still be a good person unless they overindulge. As for the fungal ones like the circle of spores druid those technically arnt zombies in lore so those would actually be fine

@@theashspawn Necrotic spells do not have to be zombies. Spells that use necrotic energy are a thing.

@@gamervox1707 no I didnt say that, I was agreeing with you and even told you that was something I have talked about before. The thing that is an evil act is animating the dead. In the zombie video I describe the spells a necromancer uses and only assign morality to the making of zombies because that is cannon lore for dnd.
