It's zinc, the hollow metal headstone with the anchor🪦⚓ I can't imagine how difficult it must be to maintain a cemetery of this magnitude🙀🚜 Sometimes TB graves were marked with just a number for privacy reasons. It could also be a row marker for ease locating a specific grave. I'm not 100% certain. Just what I remember hearing in my lifetime.

Wow! There are many graves in this cemetery. The level of neglect is astonishing to say the least. Very interesting but please slow the hell down at some points and show the names and dates on the headstones.
